synthetic urine....

Ok, I can't take not smoking anymore at my job. It's driving me bananas. Problem is, they do randoms at my work. At first, the 'professional' (read office rats/managers/engineers) folks weren't in the random pool, but after 4 HR incidents in one month, now everyone is.


When they pull you for a random, they walk in, and say 'hey, let's go'. You don't get observed peeing, but there's no prep time in between, no bathroom breaks, etc. My best option would be synthetic urine.


Soooo, who's used it? What brand is the best? Cost is not a concern, obviously keeping a job is worth more. Concealment isn't too much of a concern, I don't need a fake dick (already have one anyway, for other purposes, ha ha!!!) What do you guys recommend? What do you have experience with?

couldn't tell you the brand but a friend of mine and x roommate has used it 2 or 3 times with no problem, the thing is is you have to have it warm, some of the cups have a therometer on them. the kits come with a 1 time use heat pad but if you dont have any time to heat it up just keeping it in your pocket will not keep it warm enough.

Quick fix works. I get randoms at work too, i have that shit ready to go everyday. The good thing about my randoms are that i get them within a half hr of getting to work so as long as i get it heated up to the right temp before i go in im good to go. Sounds like you never really know what time ur gonna get em so you gotta have multiple heat pads ready to go cause they only stay up to temp for like 4- 6 hrs. Its gotta be between 90 and 100 degrees. If u can keep it that temp all day at work, feel free to puff away. First time you do it and it works you'll laugh cause its so easy.:thumbs-up: good luck! edit: Just thought of this, since you're a girl you could also keep it "inside" to keep it up to temp but i cant imagine that would be very comfortable. :roffl:

 

hm, yeah, i've heard of quick fix, i think a couple of the old heads on here have mentioned it as well.


An advantage I would have is that the testing facility is at a hospital about 10 minutes from where I work. So I drive there in my own vehicle, I think. I wonder what I could keep in my car that could warm up something???

Hand warmer pads. But the thing is it takes about an hr. for them to heat up to temp. I always microwave it to temp before I go in and put the heat pad on when i get there to keep it warm.

 

The quick fix comes with a heat pad. Leave work, take 30 minutes to get there (you "had a flat tire" on the way there). Presto, change-o!

 

ive usdquick fix but the heat pads are crap. i stopped at a convience store and zapped the urine in the micro just down the road. I had a digital thermometer so i knew it was right temp. worked great for me but temp is crucial. they will disredit any sample thats too hot or too cool. mine had dropped to 94 according to the temp strip on the sample cup. i just rubbed it with my finger til it read 97 then handed it over. good luck your issue as stated above is getting and keeping it at temp.

 

Another thing that will work and heat up the sample and keep it hot is an MRE heater. Those things get hot as hell.

I've never had to use my Quickfix, but I did prep it once, before going into a nursing interview. I heated it the way Bud suggested. Put it on your dash with the defrost on. It takes about 2-3 mins. to reach temp., then wrap with handwarmer (included in kit). The HW is intended to keep it at temp., not get it to temp.


If you're driving yourself, they don't know exactly how long it takes (traffic, etc.). If you can sqeeze-out an hr., I've recently used:

Worked like a charm and it's less expensive. You used to get QF on Ebay for $25, but now you have to go thru their site, which is $50! The Total Detox was $30 at a health food store.

 

Like astro said the defrost heats it right up. soon as you know your getting tested open up the handwarmer to get it warm put the bottle on your dash & watch the temp strip on the bottle. Works like a charm-Bud

 

Talking about drug test I just had 1 yesterday it was a 9 panel drug test I was clean so know need for Quick fix. Now I have been checking the net about drug testing & what I have found is they check for drugs not any plastic or anything else unless they get a positive then they do a more intense test.-Bud

 

I am glad I don't have to deal with that shit any more. In my job if there was any discrepancy they would put the sample through Gas Chromotography / Mass Spectrometer. Nothing but clean urine got past that. It was random, no notice testing as well. So, with the exception of taking a toke or two on times when I had 3 weeks off on vacation, I abstained.

That is the test that will detect the plastic. Unless you are going to work for the government you won't get this test, UNLESS, the first test fails. The first test in a civilian job is just some chemically coated strips stuck into your urine. There is no way that test detects plastic in any shape, form or fashion. I know this from personal experience.
