I have seen these two words only a couple of times and only having to do with seed-breeders and the art of the same. Here is what I know; 1. terpenes are for smell 2. terpenoids are for flavor That is it. My question is this; Is this stuff only for the extremely-advanced groowers/breeders or is some way to get this stuff for my average-joe grow or is it even worth it or possible? Ok, so maybe it is three or four ?'s. Thanks for any response.
if it's worth anything,all i know is it is a fairly new field in "weed science" and that terpinoids determine flavor,if i am correct.can't tell you much else.don't know what is available for the average joe
Theres not really much you can do with these things except to understand them really. terpenoids are a carbon based sugar that contributes to not only flavor but sent as well. Cross/manipulating them is not really possible to do so without really crazy ass equipment. I mean u can selectively breed, but i do not know or have ever heard of someone genetically modified weed with a terpenoid. Only real big seed companys can invest in the technology to do this, but there mainly working on creating GMO's for are corn. If only there was some GMO superweed.... NEG
