Okay well here she is up and running... These pictures make it look dimmer than it actually is.

    1. I know its probably way to close but thats all i can work with for now.
    2. I have cool air constantly blowing on Bulb from Crawlspace Roof vents.
    3. Surounded by white towels, not in any way touching lamp.

I'd love to look at your pics and give my opinion, but it seems you are trying to link them from the comp's hard drive...that won't work.

Alrighty, i hope you can see em now. Ummm the one i couldnt get up here was of the fan/air intake . File size is too big, i dont know how to crop the photo down. But anyways heres the light and a closeup of the plant. These pictures look dim, but that lamp is hella-bright. So once i cut her down imma put 3 under my old floursecent them use this to get em going. What you think?

So anyways i think it might be close to the plant top, but keep in mind that this plant is coming down soon anyways, and im putting 3 in her place. So imma try to keep em small and bushy.

The light's a beaut, alright. And too close to the plant top. So try supercropping it, for the sake of science. Soften the stem between thumb and forefinger, bend at right angle. Place your bend so the whole top of the plant will be within the growing range.

Or you could try airlayering the top half,to give you a clone which is another whole plant. In which case you would Gird it, instead of SCrop. You have room for at least 4 plants right there. But to maximize the light, bring your reflective in closely. Some white poster board or cardboard would be a better surround than the toweling, because light you could be using is escaping through the fabric. Circular walls are more productive than square. I also use plastic plates, bowls and cups to direct the reflected light back at the foliage from below.

Earth girl, when you said to Supercrop it, can you describe exactly what i should be doing. Cause i always thought SC was just pinching the stem, as to not break the skin but break the stem. You said to SC it and put it at a right angle [IMG]? You mean have my plant grow straight then the top is leaning to the right??? I dont follow. sorry. im still learning. Please dont tell me to read FAQ. People opinions are much more useful beacause you get examples as well as explanations. Thanks. -im so giddy now that the light works- [IMG]
