I almost bought a calander of Classic Funeral Cars. You have to love a '69 Caddy.


If I ever win again, I'll have to be even more obnoxious and submit some 'file photos'!


side note: anyone know that the style casket (in the pic.) is called a 1/2 couch? Here in NE PA, we're pretty much the only ones that still use a full couch. It's actually more expensive to produce a 1/2 couch, because they have to cut & finish. It's more work with a full. Some guys look like they just threw it on, but I'm alittle picky. I've used a 1/2, once, and it's so much easier.


Know (care) why they use the term 'couch'? It's because every casket (coffins are old, 6-sided, like in westerns) was originally 'full'. Someone dressed/casketed in a full looked like they were layed-out on the couch (which they did do).


I don't know alot, so give me a break.
