Personally i just Fecked UP, i Tried being LAZY n Using a Different SOIL MEDIUM, and all my Plants have been yelowing n NAcrotic Foliage everywhere, so had to get the EMSOM salts and The PH considerably DOWN!!!


Looking good though, that is a MUST,

Well, these are mainly crosses I made myself, then there is a single femmed Brainstorm back/left.


Just in case!





I have always topped my plants, but this time they're going straight to flower, un-topped and with minimal veg time (a week).


Space is an issue, as is that most are not femmed beans.


A few of them are gonna go outside as well...


Yet another experiment!


I am keeping the mix of light I used last year. 160W floro gro tubes + 400W HPS.


They get 9 hrs of HPS daily and 12 of the both.


Miracle-gro "organic' with perlite added.


As long as I get 2 females, the time/$ is covered, I reckon....3 or even 4 would be awesome!


LMAO, I can only hope I don't get TOO MANY grls!!

In any event, yup...that's what I've got. 9 total, 8 are my own making, 6 look good, shootin for 3 ladies. Time will tell!

OK, so, we Northwesterners have been under a heatwave, with all-time records shattered....unbelievable! 108 degrees in places!!

We slept in the back yard, no tent, just threw a blanket down.


The plants are suffering. Transpiration rates are pretty off the hook, mostly just giving water. Sucks knowing that this represents lost weight for my flowering ladies.


I've got all the plants in the bathroom letting cool air in on them with the cab lights off so it will cool down...that's right now, my bathroom is full.:thumbsup:


I work in front of 550 degree ovens. I don't mind the heat. But my poor plants.


Shout out to the sweaty PNW, we know it's nothing to the rest of you but we are just not used to this.

Which 3 are Fem? They are showing pretty early huh? I'm curious about how much forcing you can actually do with that early flowering.


I've been meaning to ask how much variation you've observed between the Brainstorm plants that you've grown? The 2 I grew were very distinctly different in every way, color, smell, flavor, high, height, leaf shape...totally different.

The females are WWxIce, Brainstorm (femmed) and one which I fucked up and forgot to label.


She'll be my lil' mystery grl!


Y'know, I was intending to re-veg these once sexed, but now I've decided to let 'em keep on flowering while I continue to pop more of these seeds.


30 days from seed to sex is cool, huh?


Yield will suck, but variety is a good thing, and I have LOTS of WW x Ice seed and need to use 'em up!

I was able to pipe in air from a window mounted A/C, and tho' it's ugly as fuk it works very well.


104 degrees ambient, 85 in the closet with 560 W going...





So, insane tho' it may be, I have 6 more popped and in soil right now!


2 WWxIce, 2 WWx Cheese, a WWxWW and a WW x BS.


LOL, quite full...in a 24"x50" closet!!

Very cool to get to search for the best result of those crosses! Do you have a separate space to keep clones if you find the winner?


I don't really find it strange at all that the 2 were so different given that the parents are so different. Haze is a Sativa that's known for the "uplifting" and "motivational" qualities as well as taking forever to finish (16-20+wks)...NL#5 Is an Indica dominant plant that yields well, and finishes in a much shorter time.


I'd be pretty devastated to have lost the Sativa leaning pheno of the BS. I'm flowering 2 clones from it now...I've got 4 more ready to flower and 8 tiny ones rooted and in small soil cubes. I thought I was going to let the indica go but man the smoke just gets better with age...I don't mean curing I mean plant age. Every plant that I've grown from clone tasted better than it's first incarnation.


That's my experience. And after having the indica leaning pheno the second time...not so sure I want to let it go...Not enough space...


My current grow is stunted from heat...and seeded. I've had a hash plant in there that never showed preflowers and turned out to be male...So I've got HPxIce, HPxBrainstorm, and HPxBubbleicious seeds developing.


I've also got some new stuff on the way across the pond. I'm pretty excited, Brainstorm is HazexNL#5...I'll be working with some HazexWW soon:fly:


Good work on temp control. I'm going to have to do something differently eventually but I'm really limited here. I'll find new solutions when I'm in another space.

Well Grat/all...


I intend to keep using the same space/equipment, and just start punching out plants this time, as fast as possible.


It's a single 'chamber', no real separation for ages/stages.


But there IS combined spectrums....I think that makes a difference.


No clones, minimal veg time, bam, bam, bam....3 Mo. +/- per generation.





I have amassed a shitpile of seeds, and I gotta run em or toss em.


Also I want some variety!!


I miss Brainstorming over a Cheesy, Icy, White Widow SALAD!!

Hey Solo, any sense of how close they are? Are you checking the trichs?


I'd be pretty lost flowering from seed like that.


Any sense of efficiency? I know you were looking for something quickly...but do you think it's a good practice? Sure are compact...and pretty much all bud huh? Should give you a good sense of which cross gives the effects you like best.


I've just finished a batch that was much more heavily seeded than anticipated...


If I ever get a good outdoor opportunity I'll try out my HPxIce, HPxBub and HPxBrainstorm...but I don't think I really have the space for such unknowns.


Got close to 1K seeds between the three...:laughing1:


Oh yeah, "HP" = HashPlant.
