IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT SPRAYING THE FOLIAGE , (THE LEAVES) , WITH THE NUTES IN WATER, THEN......"NO"!!!!!!!!!!

    DEFINATELY NOOOOOO!

BUT THERE ARE SPRAYS THAT CAN ENHANCE YOUR FOLIAGE , BUT I PERSONALLY HAVE NEVER USED THEM AND NEITHET HAS MANY PEOPLE AT ALL THAT IVE EVER HEARD OF EITHER, ALTHOUGHA FEW HERE N THEIR DO, ITS NOT COMMON PRACTICE TO DO SO...........

JUST NUTE YOUR PLANTS AS NORMAL IN THE SOIL OR THROUGH YOUR HYDRO TANK.........

BUT THATS IT MAN, JUST TO BE ON THE SAFER SIDE OF "SAFE"!!!!

    PEACE OUT.......

ANY OTHER Q'S , JUST ASK OR I.M ME ANYTIME AND IL TRY MY HARDEST TO HELP YOU OUT MAN........

some people swear by foliar feeding. I don't do it and have plenty of size to my buds. I hear of it more in veg than flower. whatever you spray on your buds during 12-12, you have to smoke. just remember that

I dont foliar feed except in veg, and then only micros...such as spray n gro. and VHO on moms and plants aboutto flower. these sprays only get applied once duing the whole cycle (cept VHO) and I dont spray water either

I just read up on this in a Faq....basically foliage spray/feeding is fine up untill flowering time...then it can cause a lot of mildew/mold problems

so dont mist it when your flowering, just put water in the soil :)

i agree with wa on this one, Some people like it but, IME I know that it burns the leaves and nutrient problems are usually harder to pinpoint, b/c people feel that they arent' givin them alot of nutes when they foliar feed....so therefore they spray them with the chems every day and the plant starts to have indigestion(or just overall over fert. burn) lol..if you feed the roots you know how much goes into the soil, which is a better judge of how much to feed rather than the foliar which people tend to overuse and abuse.

Also foliar feeding causes spots on the leaves(wetting agent or not) and also the plants can show signs of too much N very quickly..overall it's a no no in my book...but others swear by it. If you can control urself then go for it, if not then just add nutes to the watering schedule when ur plants need it. Trust me the plants TALK you just have to LISTEN REAL HARD! ;)

Thats simply not true; and by your own admission you dont even foilar feed so how would you know?

I foilar feed my vegging plants with a superthrive+water mix. To make the mix i take a gallon of distilled water and add one capful of superthrive (the one on the superthrive bottle) to the gallon and shake it up for about 45 seconds. I use that mix to water my vegging plants once every 1-1 1/2 weeks, and i foilar feed them about every other day.

I foilar feed for numerous reasons, one is it gives direct nutrients or vitamins to the plant. Watering the plant is like taking a pill by mouth, foilar feeding is more like an injection by needle; it gets to the bloodstream "instantly". My ambient humidity is also pretty low; in my veg room my humidity is like 25% so it helps the plant in that regard. Lastly and more importantly i like to foilar feed because it cleans your plant off, knocks off dust and any pests that may be trying to hang out around your plants. Pests will be less sucessful laying eggs on your plant if you are spraying it with water regularly.

I also foilar fed my big budding Power Plant today, i only do that once a week and i try to get the big fan leaves only and avoiding a direct spray to my buds. All of my big fan leaves are showing signs of yellowing so i am just trying to slow their dying process. Its not a good idea to spray your plants when they are budding, but my temps are at 86F in the day cycle and my humidity is like 31%, i also have constant air blowing on the plants so i will be OK but your setup maybe different.

All in all i think 10-52-10 is too hot of a mix to spray on the plant, especially at full strength. Also Wawona makes the ultimate point, that whatever you spray on your buds you have to smoke.....remember that.

LOL running your mouth again i see chump :D

I got plenty of pics of my plants on this site, so use the search feature before you run you mouth Michael. Just because i dont have a GK garden doesnt mean that i dont have pics on this site, bitch remember that.

Just to satisfy your chump ass, and to show some newcomers how plants are SUPPOSED to look when they are healthy i will post a thread here tomorrow that shows in HIGH RESOLUTION DETAIL my plants and how healthy they are.

I dont got shit to hide son, specially not from a 250watt/LST/closet chump like you Michael :) BTW the name is JDizzle not "Ed" and not "jizzm" Michael ;)

I feed nutes when I water,..but I spray often, and they love it, but just with pure water, not nutes...they enjoy a nice misting when they wake up,..it recreates the morning dew..just plain old distilled water, and they soak it up,...I have used superthirve before with the same results...no great effect.but no bad one either. I think my next grow I will try H202 on one of the plants with foliar spray, and one with h202 the waterin'can (out of 4-5) and see If I can get things better...

I dunno it just seems right to mist my plants once or twice a day...It keeps my humidity up too.

you don't want to add h2o2 to the foliar feeding process or foliar watering...add carbonated water if anything..why would you want to keep the humidity up unless you have clones...The less humid it is, the easier poisons are aspirated from the leaves....remember +++oxygen to the root(h2o2)is good

and +++++carbon dioxide to the leaves = good
