Now i have been flowering for 7 weeks now and about last week i finally started seeing trichs with the naked eye, i do however have a illum- microscope 100x but the thing is now this was a seed from a friend, very good smoke and it started flowering even before i changed the light schedule , someone told me it was a auto flowering plant so i was just wondering how long should i let it flower for 8, 9 , weeks longer? i know you can tell by the trichs color but trying to sample it's just not ready yet , i mean the damn thing is so heavy the top bud that is that i have to suport it with a stick ,,,,am i doing anything wrong is there anyone who knows about auto flowering plants what im trying to ask is ,,,,,is there a week time frame that is for harvest like 8 weeks or 12 weeks ,,,,just wanting to know ? thanks for your help guy's,,,,
Do just that......go by the trichs ripeness. And use a stake, or string to hold up the massive buds. Good luck, and keep us updated.
Yes. You got some good looking budage on there, in spite of yourself. Stake that girl up. like mr. D said, and don't over feed it, less is more, and you should be well paid, in spite of your self. Congrats on your soon to be harvest.
It's this simple. When it looks like good bud to you? pull it. Some like it pulled early, as it is more of a head stone, some like it later, as it is more of a couch lock stone then. I grow Indica heavey strains. as long as the buds are still swelling with resins, as ALL plants will the last few weeks, and the top third or so of the hairs are white? then I keep that train a' rollin' my friend. Keep in mind, the older the gal is, the less she eats, and the later it gets, the more I flush between nutes. I tweak to get dense ass buds as I trim off the lower 2/3 of the bud sites way before this point, but it does seem that your plant is a indica heavy strain, so you could work on my style. I will say, if it dosen't seem to be swelling? then flush that gal for at least a week in plain water, then chop. If this info, other than a good flushing ( ALWAYS flush. ) dosen't seem to fit for you now? then keep it in mind as you get your skills together. You'll see. Good luck, buddy.
