I used a seed starter kit with the dark brown, almost dirt like "spounge" cubes, devided into 50 seprate cells. The kit seems to be working okay, having sprouted some in about 2 days. I usually plant or "sow" my seeds pretty deep, sometime a couple inches, and I've always been successfull. Anyway, I sowed as the "Bible" read (for the first time) and planted them only about twice their width (approximately 3mm deep). One of those that sprouted in about 2 days lookes like it's popping out upside down!! There is no seed case or leaves on it. It looks like a very young tap root! It was barely out of the medium, maybe 1mm long and it looked like it was curling downward with a slightly darker, thinner tip. Figuring it was a root and knowing they don't like direct light, I gently covered it with some pieces from another cube. WHAT SHOULD I DO?? If I keep it covered will it grow back down and then pop right side up? Should I just flip the cube upsidedown? Is there ANYTHING I can do??? Thanks!
tweezers, take it out, take a phillips head or pen, poke a hole in the plug and with the tweezers put the taproot into the NEW tiny hole you created, itll give it a place to latch onto and begin to grow correctly, been there
