it would be interesting to see where the weapons originated from. converting them isn't the easiest thing to do, frankly I don't know anyone that would even attempt to do this as you catch a federal case almost instantly and assured prison and even attempting to but fucking up a sear could cause you to lose a finger or two that rate of fire seems like it had to be heavy weapons though, it's hard for me to believe an ar wouldn't over heat at that rate edit, it seems he was using bump stocks

i think he had the bump fire conversion on an AR15. We will see. I don't think a standard AR's gas tube can handle sustained fire on full auto. There was a booth up here at the gun show last year offering that conversion. I think I will pass on that one.
Getting all that stuff up to the room wouldn't have been anything for him to worry about.... Vegas is built around 8 hr shift changes, with some 4 hr overlaps.... I would imagine he moved the stuff to his room over a least a couple shift changes, or days... He already knew the end game, so he took his time.. On the strip, in Vegas, if you appear ordinary, everyone is more than happy to assume that you are.... That's what makes it run so well...... To really understand Vegas and get an insight as to what happens on the strip, you need to drive a taxi there for a few years... it was a fun job, 50-75 a day in tips.... The cab owners greed put more cabs on the street and screwed that up...

The gun laws are retarded because the NRA pays huge bribes to politicians to get laws passed (or not enacted as in nevada) that at the end of the day ensure 100% total access to almost all small arms for most Americans if you are willing to jump through a few hoops. No shit. I went through a phase where I really wanted a full auto machine gun. i researched what i would have to do to get it. It can be done, legally, never mind the clever work arounds that we've all come up with over the years. And never mind getting a full auto illegally. I had a roomate in college whose dad was a judge and had a licence for full auto. He had a full auto uzi. I used to go to his house on breaks and he showed me where his dad kept it, where the key was, pulled it out and showed it off, showed me how to operate it even, and we almost fired it except he said his dad would know and get mad. Had I less respect for the burglary laws I could have stolen that and sold it in 5-6 hours. I had an AK-47 that I got the plans for to convert to full auto, and I had an 80 round drum for it. No joke. You could get 7.62x39MM boxes of NATO rounds for like 2.50 a box. I used to spend all day at the range. I never did the conversion but I know damn well it can be done. This was all years ago and that shit is long gone. We don't have gun laws in this country. Not sure how I feel about it. Not sure this is a good time to get political. No law on earth would have stopped that guy. There already is a law against killing people which he obviously gave not one shit about. What makes anybody think he would have cared about some dumb gun law? He was a gun enthusiast but I know guys with literally hundreds of guns, and they are not even big time collectors. Those bump stocks imo are crap, yeah you can get "like full auto" but its not the same. ar-15's can handel full auto fire, a simple auto sear trigger is the main difference in a full auto weapon, all other ar-15's sold in gun stores have a block installed that dont allow for a full auto sear trigger assemb to be dropped in. You can legally buy full auto guns but its alot of money, paperwork, extra fingerprint cards and where I live the local sherrif has to sign off and hes not so fast to sign on any one.
Also on ar and ak's, ak are more of a novility item, everyone wants one, i got a 11" barrel pistol version that is only good for a decent shot every few seconds, the buffer spring is in the top of the main gun just under the top dust cover so they jump up when fired and trying to pull the trigger as fast as you can and shoot something. Your first shot might get the target but the rest will be all over the place. Not a safe gun to rapid fire at all but its a gun that will shoot tru a 8 in pine tree and get the person behind it hidding for cover. Its a nasty gun to be shot with, not much a surgen can do if you get shot with one, the ar's have the buffer spring in a tube located in the stock of the gun which cuts down in the recoil (kick/jump) alot, this makes it so a few burst can be controlled and a target hit at much better accuracy (sorry, dont have spell check) hand guns and shot guns are perefect for home defence, only if say a group of looters show up after a natural desaster for instance does a ar rifle become your best friend. Why say do I have a few ar's and ak's, well its simple, because I can. Its legal. Same with my 37 mm granade/smoke/gas/flare launcher, I can own it. $230 and I took it home with no wait. But if I want to shoot fragmented granades from it, its $200 tax stamp, paperwork, fingerprint cards and a trust set up for someone to get it if I die. Laws are crazy but legal,... dont do it the legal way and get caught, forget about anything but federal time in prison. I keep all my shit legal, concealed carry, all that stuff. Its easy to do and the risk of not doing it the right way is not worth it, just do it the right way and be happy and legal.
