    West Palm Beach police stopping people for marijuana violations now have the option (in other words, cops that are not dicks) to issue $100 fines rather than make arrests for marijuana violations and leave those convicted with lifelong criminal records.


    Juveniles, felons, people on probation or with DUI records won’t get that option, but others caught with 20 grams or less of pot will in most cases just get a civil fine, under an ordinance the city commission approved unanimously Tuesday
