High everyone........ I've got a few (3) outdoor ladies goin' behind my place of employment. All 3 were bagseeds that were planted outside the day after Mothers' Day. Two of them are doing fine, and have been budding for a couple weeks now, but the 3rd one is not as far along. Don't get me wrong, the plant looks great, (from far away), but up closer, the bud-sites have a dark purple/blackish color to them. I know for a fact that this plant IS a female, 'cause there ARE a few buds forming lower down on the plant. I just need to know what the black shit may be, and why the buds are taking so long to form at these funky blackened bud-sites. Here are a few pics of what I'm talking about: The plant looks healthy as shit Then a closer look: I don't have too much flowering time left (midwest), and want this bitch to produce!! Any suggestions and/or diagnosis will be greatly appreciated.
looks purple to me...which is common. Why is it purple and not producing? Well, I can't say I know, but I'm sure someone around here does.
man that looks weird. i dont know what it is. someone here may no/ kinda looks like the plant is smokin its self..lmao!! jk dunno, just looks likes its burnt rite where the buds would start to grow.
its a nutrient defficency- feed now!...what fert do you have? i recommend somthing high in p and K. that twisting is ph and that type of purple is bad. check ph of water you feed with and then soil......go from there....but u need to fix it now! every day lost is less and less of a yeild!
P and K im sure is needed if she hasnt been fed right is why theres no pistol growth and purpling- week five there should be nice lil bids on there...shes being stunted.... shes got plenty of N and Micronutes, no droopiness or curling or white meristems just fresh growth... she looks happy other than that! the twisting is a ph issue tho....whats the ph of feedwater? the ph is a big issue too, if its off then that could be why the plant cant uptake those nutes.
Thanks for the replies......As it is bagseed, I have been giving them M.G. veg fert. I just gave all of them some M.G. bloom ferts right before I took the pics. (I always use Fox Farms products on my indoor grows though). The weird thing about it is there ARE buds down toward the bottom of the plant. The blackness is predominantly on the upper bud-sites. Don't know the ph of the water here, but the other 2 ladies are doing just fine, so maybe it's the soil that is the prob. (this plant is about 30yds. from the other 2). I will up the P and K and see what happens......time is running out, and with my luck, we'll have an early frost this year. Thanks again.
