    I've tried.
    -Earth Juice
    -Metanaturals
And finally Botanicare. Botanicare is by far my favourite. I still however still use metanaturals calcium.

I read that a little earlier.

I've never in my life owned a fish. What is it about the fish water that is so nice? Does it perhaps have something to do with all the little organisms that grow inside of it???? Can you elaborate on that please? I'd love to know.

A well established fish tank has a good amount of beneficial bacteria and it breaks down fish waste into nitrogen, phosphate, and some potassium along with other micro nutrients. It is basicly a complete nutrient and I stress that I only add a teeny tiny bit of the earth juice potassium and some plants don't even seem to need that. Well fed fish (frozen and live foods) seems to produce tastier weed then dry foods, but it doesn't really matter I can barely tell a difference and it might just be the placebo effect.

Do you water with straight fish water or do you mix with pure water? If straight fish water have you ever considered a fish pond with a ledge and wick pots? That would look pretty sexy in my living room imho. ;)

Nope....it's a blend of horse shit, chicken shit, goat shit, decomposed granite, wood ash, etc etc etc. All sorts of goodies in there including coffee grinds and egg shells. Anything vegetative goes into the mix. :ebert: Let's just say I laugh at Miracle Grow commercials. :laughing1:

When the plants are directly in the fish tank like I used to do it there was no choice but straight fish water. Right now I am doing 2 parts fish water to one part water for my hempy seedlings just while they are little. I have 2 one week old ones that are loving it and I have 4 more about to break ground... grow thread very soon.

cannagirl, I was wondering how you keep the fishtank topped up. Do you just keep adding fesh water each time you water the hemp-eez? :icon_scratch: Thinkin a fish tank might be in order asap. Or maybe throwin a bunch of koi in the pond and just using pond water. We'll see when the time comes. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on that.

yeah, just keep adding fresh water. I have not cleaned this fish tank in...oh I dunno...over a year. And have never lost a fishy helper either due to water quality (had one jump out once). Thats part of the beauty, unless you really overfeed or have too many fish, you don't need to clean the tank at all, it's not going to look pretty but the fish doesn't care, the water quality is what matters to them. It must be an established tank or at least a new tank with an established filter though or you will be giving your plants ammonia before it turns into nitrogen.

I used to really like metanaturals. I still use some of the 3-3-3 during veg, I'll use it every third time. I like how it has all those micro nutes.

Yes, nobody cleans the fishes natural habitat either. The fish care of certain factors that define the quality of the water for them. Factors like oxygenation, lack of toxins, etc. The fish don't care if the water has lots of nutrients floating around and clouding it up because they have poor vision and hunt by smell.
