Widespread Panic made their way through Idaho this weekend, and I got to catch one of the shows. How sweet - it was my first time even hearing them (I've heard of them) and I've heard the live shows are where it's at. What fun! A bunch of completely random people all completely baked out of their brains! I don't think I've ever seen so many joints being passed around at a show, and I've been to a lot of shows! Too bad I was too baked myself to take pics asssit: but I remember bits & pieces, and I supposed that will have to do! Made lots of delicious cannacookies for the camping party, and much to my dismay I could not take food in! Here I am with a purse FULL of cookies, and the lady says "No Food" I ask her, can I have a couple and throw the rest away? She says "sure" so here I am standing in the pat down line, stuffing my face with canna cookies as other people are shoving through the gates. Whew! I think I got 4 of them down just then, that's not counting what I smoked and ate beforehand, and when we got back to camp, I found the rest of the box num num num!!! peace GTWT :XXhippylove:
I'm a huge Panic fan! I got turned on to them in 2002, and I've been hooked since. I've seen them all over the country. I went to see them at Telluride, CO in 2004, Wakarusa in 2006, Red Rocks x2 in 2006. Red Rocks x2 in 2007, All Good Festival 2008, Red Rocks x2 in 2008, New Years Denver x2 and a few others I can't think of right now. I love Panic and anyone who loves music would love Panic also, if they gave them a chance. We just had them at Red Rocks, 2 weeks ago, for 3 nights and they sold out instantly. John Bell's voice is just so PERFECT! Plus, all the hot girlies with all the flashing lights and glowing breasts and such. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Not my all time favorite, but I do enjoy their concerts. Saw them back in....geeze...2001? Early 2000s, had a great time even though that was just the start of my smoking days really, but all the flashing made up for the lack of being heavily stoned....
I hate panic Last time i saw them was an ALL TIME LOW. People kept throwinG COCONUTS at me. Light show was cool...tons of TRAVELING LIGHTS....i was on the phone the whole time with my girl telling her i "WISH YOU WERE HERE." Oh well i just say on the PORCH listeing to the SONG...thinking to myself, "AIN'T LIFE GRAND?!" i FUCKING LOVE PANIC

lol they are famous they aren't "famous" because they havnt sold out. WP will stand the test of time, i guarentee it. It's one of the few things i'll pass on to my younger ones...music wise anyways. BTW one of the band members is from the town i currently reside in...way cool. love seeing them here...
Rumor . . . Well folks, rumor has it this is possibly the last tour for Panic. I know it's been said before, but supposedly "Dirty Side Down", is their LAST album and the live shows are coming to an end too. I hope this is just a nasty rumor, but I figured I'd pass on the info. Such an outstanding band to watch live!
um..no way This is not their last tour. I'll bet my bankroll on it. They will be around. At least another 5 years...so much life left.
:fireworks:WIDESPREAD PANIC NEW YEARS EVE 12/31/2010!:fireworks: Last Friday I got my 4 FLOOR tickets to Panic in Denver NYE! I am sooooooo stoked! I made it to the NYE show they played in Denver, in `08/`09, and it was AMAZING! I have a couple extra tickets as of right now, but they are not easy to come by, so I'm either selling them for max profit, or hooking up some friends at face value. Not sure yet . . . my brain is sort of tired right now. Anyone else gonna be there?
Wow, what an amazing night! The first show was amazing! Nothing like a big name band playing until 2am at eh Pepsi Center. The event staff looked a bit tired. Wait until tonight . . . it's gonna be a BLAST!:fireworks: Wish you all could be here for these kick ass shows. Panic isn't going to be playing much in the near future, so now is my chance to get a good PANIC ATTACK! Have a safe New Years Eve everyone and PLEASE don't drink and drink. Have fun and puff tough!
