im just wondering if continual wind or in my case a fan blowing on the buds is good? am i drying them out? or helping them?they still have about 3 weeks or so of budding before i pull em...any feedback is appreciated thanks everyone
u r helping them. helps the stems get stronger to support the weight of the buds. helps keep air distributed throught the space as well. any good grower would tell you to have a fan(s) oscilating in the room
i was wondering the exact same thing. i've got a couple of plants that i want to start flowering. i know to cut the exaust fan off with the lights and was wondering about the cirulation fan. i want the plants to be strong. but is 24 hrs an advantage? peace, CG
yeah let the fans go all the time 24 hrs a day is just fine for circolatorfans i let mine go all the time and it works out rather well. makes the stems thick and strong and thick strong stems make for big buds
yeah i understand u want wind in the room.....im not a good grower and i know that.... i mean i have 4 fans in my box and one of the fans blow directly on the plant that is budding right now all the time it dosent oscillate it blows right on the top part..is there too much wind is my question? thanky much
yes. I run one of those 3 feet tall, oscilating tower fans 24/7. i keep the intake and exhaust fans on 24/7 as well.
I have an air purifier and box fan that blow in the direction of the plants...the box fan blows off the ceiling and onto the plants...is it ok if they arent osilating?
i'm pretty sure that a gentel rocking motion is what you want. strengthening the entire peremiter of the stalk. it's only natural. seems a constant bend would alter the growth patern, IMO of course. jut look at any tree of shrub that has a general wind direction. we have several trees on our golf course that get nothing but a northeast wind. not only are they leaning about 8 degrees but its clear the vegetation is altered severely. peace, CG
exactly! oscilating is better because it keeps from doing what creative gardner is talking about and bending the plants in one direction. a constant straight wind is not good. pointing it at the ceiling and that directing the air towards the plant is prolly ok.
