I know Disco, I did on the Hortilux grow but was kind of gun shy about it. You can't argue with the results, that's for sure.
[quote=nippie;5766? And how the hell do you make everything so even and perfect? Inquiring minds want to know He's an alien I swear
Damn you make my feel inferior. I got the same seeds from same breeder and only 1 of mine looked half that good. Nice job man
Thanks for the compliments guys. I learned most everything I know here at GK. :read2: nippie, my res temps run 64 degrees at night and 74 during the day. I swear by defoliating guys. The first time I top my plants I defoliate all fan leaves. The plants are hit with a ton of new growth, and new shoots. When I top the second time, I defoliate again. If I decide to top a third time the same thing happens, a ton of new growth and new shoots. By week two of flower I strip all fan leaves.:5eek: Not as bad as it sounds. At the moment I just still remove the late occasional leaf that grows out over a bud. New Fan Leaf growth stops completely about 3 to 4 weeks into flower. The last 4 weeks are just watching them fatten up!
Ahh, strip it in veg as well. I was wondering because waiting till 2 weeks into flower is a lot of foliage to strip. I'll try it on the next round.
The thought of it just scares me. My plants have hundreds of fan leaves befor I put them into flower, so I always worry that that much taken off is going to shock them. If you are doing it in phases, though... then there is less being taken out towards the end. I still hesitate about trying to do that with 3+foot plants. It seems like a shit ton of work.
4 weeks flower Here they are at 4 weeks into flower. The Girl scouts are looking great! Here are the girls with lights out.
I have blade heaters (draw less than 200 watts) in each of my tents - night temps sit right at 70, day temps 80. Ambient in my cellar is mid 60's. Heaters in tents run on thermostats
I just finished changing the res. Here are a few picture. Everyone. Girl Scout #1 and #2 Girl Scout #3
You guys cant see it but the Blueberry in the left rear cornerhas yellowing and rust spotting leaves. The rest of the table looks great. During the Res change I took a fresh water hose and flushed out the net pot. It was the only thing I could think to do. The roots look the same as the other plants on the table. Looks like a Cal mag and and lock out from other nutes. hope the flushing helps. :bong-2:

Doesn't that just piss you off? Got a couple plants doing that. Everybody else is happy happy...they are the downers that remind me of my own grow mortality.
