Bloom Onyx LED

A whole lot of pinching. Like every three days. All done during Vegg.


It really thicken the stems up.

I also took notice in your supercropping techniques. How does defoliating work and where are you "pinching?" Between every node or what? The only technique I've tried(idk name for it), was getting all new growth to split, starting with terminal shoot. Does this method work?Plants look extremely well taken care of. Thx

 

Okay this is what I do every three days four days tops I go to the each plant and I pinch the stem between each internode until it crushes. You will feel the stem crunch between your fingers. I do this for no more than a couple weeks during the last two weeks of the vegging phase. During the first two weeks of flowering I may occasionally pinch some of the tops that are getting longer than the rest of plant just to slow down the vertical growth. I will cop all the plants at least twice over a three-week period while I'm pinching the stems.

Unfortunately the GDP from loud seeds, there were two plants both popped male pollen sacks. 4 or 5 opened on each plant.:BangHead: I removed and killed both.:redbong:

 

DAMN!!:BangHead: Or should I say DOUBLE DAMN!:BangHead::BangHead: Anything out of the ordinary, stress or light schedule?


And everything was looking so good!! Do you think it's just bad genetics since it happened to 2 of them?

I heard they were have issues with that variety ( GDP ) popping balls.


The few male pollen sacks that opened I really saw no pollen. I'm sure I may see a seed or two. Any seeds that may come from this will be destroyed.

Nice! So what do you think about light penetration with LEDs? Surprised at all?

 

I really like the LEDs Skunky. I really think the difference is onyx uses a 10 W LED while most use either a 3 W or a 5 W LED to me that seems like a big difference so yeah I would say I'm very happy so far with the Onyx lighting

Here's a shot of GSC 4.5 weeks into flower. They do seems to be getting a lot of good growth on the bottom too.
