Is it still save to chop a few shade leaves during week #2 of flower? 3. Should I keep up with the SCROG or should I just let them grow? I'll post a pic with the SCROG down, and you guys can let me know what you think. I've been stretching the longest shoots outwards so the middle gets alot more light and I'm trying to keep all the shoot sites level, so I can keep the light down lower. I'm keeping the light about 24" above the plants now, running my 1K on 75%. Keeps the temp around 81F-82F, RH is right around 35%-40%. I'll post a video as well in a little while. SCROG Down: Is it still save to remove some fan leaves to allow better undergrowth and penetration?
raise the ph to 5.8 listen to me when I say this, grab some rockwool and cloning powder (green light from Homedepot is perfect) soak your RW in 5.5 solution (I recently started to add General Hydro Rapid Root??..might be diff exact name but it's GH root shit 1ml per gal) and take some cuttings. Even the worst horrible shitty looking cutting will take root this way. Give em a 7-10 days and your golden. I used to be like you and just pop beans, tried cloning and took like 30 because I thought they would die and maybe 1 would live, well the opposite happened and I had to kill clones. The only time I had bad luck with cloning is using Dutch Masters cloning shit...it sucks and is expensive and is shit....cheap and ez is the way to go. Try it and report your progress, I'm telling you YOU CAN DO IT!!! It's easier than it sounds and with that method you cannot fuck it up. Looking good other wise...start cloning though!!! Save strains and money. You can do it!!! It will cost you like $15 EDIT.....Wife said chix wire will be pain in the ass when you go to harvest, get good wire cutters
Man. I wish I could have done the clone thing but I just popped 5 new beans like 3 days ago. I thought you couldn't take cuttings during flower anyhow? Is it still safe to prune some over run fan leaves this late into flower?
You can clone anytime, just some root easier and when you take after flowering begins the plant kinda mutates a little, nothing wrong with the smoke, but it starts throwing out rounded or set of three leaves...shit like that. Clone, even if it's for practice, that my opinion.
Clone when you don't have to. Nothing says you have to grow them out. Then when you need to you'll already know how. Until you know what your doing I'd suggest trimming only the leaves on the underside of your scrog. If a leaf is blocking a bud site tuck it off to the side rather than cut.
it usually is, but you can clone anytime. I think midnight posted a picture of a "bud" somewhere that was cloned and grew roots...they aint pretty at first but do go back to normal after a few weeks
You can clone at any time. These were taken for clones at the 8th week of 12/12 a couple days before chop. This one is being turned into a mom for now: This one for another go at flowering:

I must say Chaz it is because you ignore very sage advice over and over again. People here at GK are getting frustrated. It seems you possess the potential to be an excellent grower. You just need to stop asking for advice and then completely ignoring it. Slow down and concentrate on the basics, then you can experiment with different styles, mediums, techniques. When you ask a question here and get multiple answers that say the same thing, then you ignore that advice. It tends to piss people off. As I mentioned above you are showing some nice results, but the people you call "old fucker" and what not is insulting and hopefully not tolerated here. MG is a well respected and liked person here.

guilty here also:roffl: don't see how this thread went to shit....chaz I do mean this, read the advice everyone has given and you will learn something. people bust balls, so what, if you want to learn listen to their advice and follow it. your garden doesn't look bad, but now the fun starts with rdwc, trying to manage them in flower, which is way the fuck harder than it sounds....I'm not a noob and I said "fuck it" because it wasn't worth the hassle. Finish your grow, listen to the advice, switch systems to something that is user friendly and follow all the advice given here. you might not like some of the people around, but we all have shown off our gardens and we all can grow....like I said before, most of us are criminals by default (because of the state) so don't take everything so personally.
