Thanks bud! Ya the burn was from the first time I tried to feed them way to early. When I fed them at 50% a few days later got some new growth, but still a tint of yellow on the leafs and the 50% dose didn't burn anything. So still stick to what you said?
Hempy rules. Glad you started listening because you're starting to get the hang of it. Those look really good. I'd do what MrGJ said. And now that they have hit the res you'll see some pretty explosive growth over the next weeks. Well done. Rock on. Edit: Looked at your pics again, they look too small to have hit the res, but you'll know for sure when they do because they will take off like nobody's business.
I would agree with MrG on this, they look a little yellow, but that's not a horrible thing at this stage. Bump up and then start with normal feedings. Also I saw in the pm that you said something about water at the base of the plant....well you should not water there, try to spread the water out so that the roots search for water edit...about the yellowing, that's what you want to see when you start to feed for future reference, don't think it's a bad thing, it's just a sign from your plants telling you they are ready for N....learn to read your plants
Cool. Thanks guys! Ya, I do think I'm getting the hang of this, but man now that my RDWC system is dialed in and I haven't had to mess with it in months it's also great! The root masses in those 5 gallon buckets fill the entire bucket. I'll take a pic of the roots on my next update. They love the constant current and aeriation.
BTW: My next video update, do yall want me to pop the plants out of the tent before I do the update? I usually just take pics, put everything back in the tent then make the video, but I can just do both at the same time, I think that would give yall a better reference as to where my plants are. Has to be different seeing them individually and up close. Edit: I drain the entire systems weekly at feeding time and clean the buckets weekly with H202, uber clean system. My roots are blinding white! xD
Weekly Update Weekly Update The advice to go back to week #3 seems to have worked out great. Over the past week they have put on a noticable amount of weight. Fed them at Week #4 this week and will just finish out week by week. I fed the veg plants at 75% of week #1, they look very good. I didn't take pics of the small vegging plants but they are in the video update. Despite all of your mishaps you're doing very well. You're going to have some nice smoke if you can just manage not to kill yourself before they are done.
:laughing4: I was thinking the same thing! The advice to go back to week #3 seems to have worked out great Nice. Good to see you turned it around.:goodjob:
Thx MG. The Blue Dream is gonna be my bread winner, shit smells amazing. Ever tried that strain? And not to worry about killing my self, everything is on dedicated breakers, my dad's electrician came and hooked my breaker box up with extra shit. All good now, haven't blown a breaker since he installed the new shit in my breaker box. Yes, everything def turned around well! Thanks buddy! My last grow I just tied them up to my top support bars and everything worked out great, I plan on doing the same thing this time. I'm actually doing some tying today, just to bring some of the buds closer to the light. Having removed the SCROG alot of branches are growing outward, not upward, those will be tied up today. To be honest, I think I'm doing very well with the RDWC system. No flucuations in PH or PPM, I check it everyday just incase, but everything is always dead on. As far as the hempy grow, I'm still learning, I hope it all works out and I get some trees like yall grow! Man, feeding them yesterday and checking them this morning was incredible, they seriously grew two more nodes in one night, no more yellow leaves, everything is dark green, and new nodes are coming up daily. I'll take pics of them here in a little bit just to see the difference in one week how much they've grown, I'm actually very surprised. I couldn't have done any of this stuff without this great community!
Foiler Feeding Does anyone here Foiler feed? Why would someone want to foiler feed over standard nutrition? I got a freebe of this stuff called TheBushDoctor. Think I should give it a shot on my new plants?
:bravo: Foliar feeding is for quick uptake of certain nutrients. If your plants are well fed there's really no need. I'd recommend against except in the case of a few specific deficiencies.
Yea i have a couple bottles of those laying arounnd also..and like res said , its good for when you have a defiency and need quick uptake to help solve the problem
