Just a little quick update on the youngins I got going on. Fuck they have finally exploded! I believe all have hit the res and are ready for food already. I've been feeding on Sunday and flushing the res out the Friday before adding nutes, but during the week I don't give them anything. Is that okay? Exodus Cheese #1 Was the Exodus Cheese #2 Runt (Not Anymore) Exodus Cheese #3 Exodus Cheese #4 Kandy Kush (Momma plant) Group Shot Is it safe to top these plants at this point? I want to make the Kandy Kush a mom, since I have no seeds of it left and don't want to loose the strain. Is there ways to make a better mom plant? Like topping?
Those look like they finally hit the reservoir. I'd start them on week one useless formula at this point.
Already fed them at 75% of week 1 and half way through the week they looked like they needed fed more, so I'm gonna feed them at week 2 this Sunday, we'll see how they react. When is it okay to start LST and HST?
You can start topping any time now. The plant you want to keep as a mom should have stayed in a small pot. Take clones you want and keep 1 of those as a mom. Moms you want to keep in a smaller pot under low light. You want to keep her alive and healthly, but not growing real big. They all look real good. :bravo: Peace.....

You try to keep your moms small so they don't take up much room. You let her start growing when your ready for clones by putting her in your regular vegg area. Unless your taking more than 4-6 cuttings off her, how big do you want it? Topping can be done as soon as your plants are stable. Yours are ready. You can start training your plants whenever they start to grow beyond the seedling stage. After like, the third node you could start to shape them. Yours are ready.

Weekly Update Weekly Update So far so good. Was a very good recomendation to go back to week #3 and re-start from there. So this week all the photo's in the flower tent were fed @ week #5 and got their final dose of A.N. Big Bud. It seems like the Blue Dream is gonna take forever to finish, smells like a dream. Anyone ever grow a BlueDream Haze? What was your flowering time? Pineapple Express: (Day 91 / 52 Days Flowering) Purple Wreck: (Day 91 / 52 Days Flowering) Critical Jack Herer: (Day 122 / 52 Days Flowering) Blue Dream Haze: (Day 122 / 52 Days Flowering) Exodus Cheese & Kandy Kush: (All on day 40 from seed) - I fed them all at week #2 at full strength, I think they can take it. Also, I installed all the individual SCROGS in the buckets today. Exodus Cheese #1: (MurderCropped) Exodus Cheese #2: (Growing it out normally, no adjustments) Exodus Cheese #3: (Topped Only) Exodus Cheese #4: (Topped and SuperCropped) Kandy Kush: (SuperCropped Only x2) - I supercropped her at night and I actually heard the stalk crack when I supercropper her, I came in the next morning and it was if I didn't even to anything, she was sitting straight upright! lookin good Seems theres a massive amount of foxtailing going on, what are your temps? If your temps are too high, your starving yourself of about 35% + of a great yield, cuz they look super healthy, thats where the major importance of a tuned in enviorment comes in to play and how to maximize your space given and light used and paid for VS. the overall haul............and a massive result is the plant not fully giving herself to you cuz shes a bit uncomfortable
What does foxtailing mean? Yes, the temps have been a bit high, but it's always been like that. I try to keep it right around 82F-85F with below 30% RH, but sometimes, for reasons I have no idea, but sometimes the temps will jump to the high 80's. Basically I need a bigger and better fan. I'm working on that now.
foxtails are the little off shoots of bud that look like a foxtail see the difference in your plants?
you might as well run 93-95 if your running 84+.....what it does is make the plant "thirsty" so it drinks more water becuz its transpiring more to fend off the heat and instead of eating now, its drinking......causing smaller yields thru out the entire plant, it sometimes goes as far as 75% less yield than a truly happy plant in a great enviorment. If you can get to the mid 70s, youll see a massive differance in plant growth, structure, yield, quality, etc etc..........your PH wont fluctuate as much also......PH rises are caused mostly because of how the plant is drinking to eating, the balance of sorts....if it drinks more than it eats, the PH rises quickly usually, cuz theres less water and more minerals ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL that cuz of a fucking poor choice in fan size during the growing education
Thanks for the info, but based on the fan specs it should circulate the air in the tent every 2 secs. I didn't think I would need more than a 440CFM fan for a 4x4 tent...., plus it's in an air cooled tube. I'll try to think something up quick to get those temps down, maxed temp hit today was 87F =/. How do plants grow outside like that though? Summers in Pittsburgh get up into the high 90's? And yes, my plants drink like a gallon of water a day, it's insane. Never knew the reasoning behind it. you're obviously not moving enough air if your temps are that high or you ducting is incorrectly run. Fan spec fan smecks the numbers are meaningless. Each application will be different and require a different amount of air flow to keep your temps in the mid 70's. as an example right now I'm cooking with 600 watts and a 240cfm fan & depending on how cold it is I need a heater to hit 72 deg. In the summer I change up to a 400 ~ cfm fan & have similar temps. Btw. Block Lvs if you like but what he said was correct. Sure he can be a dick (although not generally) , you don't listen (although lately you do) & have thin skin. What could go wrong :roffl:
