It wasn't 71 the whole time. Over the weekend the temps got up there in the 80s. :icon_confused: It was too late by the time I started actively cooling it. I do run it 24/7. And this time I will take heartier cuttings.

CC and T6, once again gentlemen I thank you and so do my future rooted clones.:thumbs-up:

Where does your exhaust vent out to? Chimney? side of house? sewer?

I was watching an ALASKA cop show, dude said the neighbors and cops are made aware of GROW OPs by watching for the ICE buildup from the venting areas, basically, its so cold outside there that the warmer air that comes from your vent spot will start to form icecicles and large ice chunks around it

The cop said its the number 1 way BESIDES the smell that they catch grow houses, especially with the low number of residents...it makes it easier

    Just sayin ....

    Teamsters cloneing 101

ok scotty this ones for you bud welcome to teamsters 101 cloneing class!!

ok lets start out were in the grow room searching for a clone were going to pick a bottom branch. You can do tops but I like bottoms best for rooting. Selection is everything to end up with a successfull rooting.

Lets make a cut near the end of the red pencil. Now it takes practice but the leaf node at that cut needs to extend out the bottom of the net pot so thats what were striveing for is cutting the clone so the node is at the bottom and the stem is long enough to stick out. Ok

Ok we have made the cut immediately put it in cold tap water right now! This will make sure we dont get any air bubbles in the stem.

ok heres what the cut looks like in detail out of the water

ok lets trim the clone. IN this pic were trimming the last leaf or node this is what will be on the end in the finish sticking out of the netpot so lets cut here

Lets cutoff the next leaf up because we dont need it and were only after one leaf set in the finish so lets cut. If there are additional leaves inbetween whack em off we dont need them cut them next to the stem

ok were trimmed and ready to do the final stem cut before mounting the clone to go in the cloner. Now dont mess around cut it and move on quickly! Were gonna cut about 1/8 inch below where the leaf connected to the stem at a 45 degree angle

Now were are going to immediately dip the end of the 45 degree cut into a rooting hormone. I like root tone its dry and never fails. They usually clone without the hormone but I like to seal the end before it gets into the cloner to make sure were not getting any air before the water starts to it.

ok lets mount it in the neoprene disc. The plummers knockout is laying on the counter you will notice. The stem should stick out of the bottom so it clears the net on the netpot on the final mount

ok lets push the neoprene disk into the center of the plummers knockout and mount the whole assembly into the net pot

ok were finished and into the cloner. Set the lights to 18 inches check our water temp like we talked and were in buisness roots in 5 to 9 days depending on the strain. wwwwwwwwaaaaa LLLLLLLLLLaaa

I hope this helps you scotty were gonna get this down or else

:jj: Whoaaaaaa! Thats what I call a fucking cloning tutorial from the best!! Holy crap!! Thanks dude. You should make a lil video tutorial like this sometime. I bet it would turn out great.

As it is, this should be up at the top of the board for "How to Clone, seriously."

    Thanks again brother.

If you're a hunter, come Moose season I can get ya in some real good areas known to locals only (cuz people do come up here from the States to hunt Moose.) We could pack out. Sleep in a yurt. It might be fun. You gotta get a big gun like a Weatherby or Sharps or some such rifle. Moose come through my yard every morning. It's cows and calves and they are strictly off limits. Hunting laws are tougher than weed laws.

Huge animals out in -40 degree weather like it aint nothing.

Me, I dont hunt or have a gun.

    Anyway..back to cloning

I thought you'd like that. Now make sure the light setup is right and get the temps right and cut em like the pics and you should be up and running:thumbsup: Shot a lot of big game in my time but never a Moose I would love to come up there and bag one. I bet we would have quite the time ha ha

I dont know Ofo it really depends on the strain but I actually had these two pop ends at four days with black rose and chem-blueberry.

I do believe however they do root better with the lower branches and smaller stems say verses useing the tops. All factors have a impact the cuts, method, cleanliness ect. And yes aerocloneing is a step ahead if one is serious about cloneing.

    Time

Hello lads. I couldnt get to the cloning today. Too much to take care of. My life is a hot fucking mess right now. Someday I'll tell you guys about it and we'll have a laugh.

    Tomorrow looks promising.

I'm working on fitting the netpots in the knockout collars right now. Once I get that taken care of. I'll get set up to take me cuttings.

EDIT: The knockout collars dont exactly fit in my 2" netpots. And when they do fit each other, they wont fit in the cutouts in my aero-cloner.

Are the knockouts you bought too big for the holes in the cloner or too small????? They come in all differant sizes.

Give me the diameters of the following

    1. Diameter of Net pot

    2. Diameter of Neoprene disk

    3. Diameter of the holes you drilled in bucket lid.

What size also plummers knockouts did you buy?

  19. ScottyG420

    ScottyG420 Marijuana Handler

2" everything. The collars are too big for the cutouts on the cloner lid. But the 2" netpots fit down in them real snugly. The neoprene discs are also 2" and fit well in the netpots. I've never had a leak problem with it.
