Defoliating Test Grow

The one I grew produced some big thick buds. I don't have a scale for accurate weighing but I estimate it was between 1 and 2 ounces under my 400w HPS. Some very good stuff, too.

I have never seen any of your grows, it would be nice to see the results you speak of. I would also like to say that you can not compare an outdoor grow to an indoor one. I dont think there is anyone on here that gets as much out of their plants than MrG does. I mena he is not growing trees and pulling 5oz per plant. Who else gets that much finished weight from a plant thats under 2 feet tall?

I have an old LG envy phone I took the picture of it laying on my desk right next to a mag light right now I'm trying to unload the picture gallery from that and it's being difficult because the phone was broken but I can still look at them so I'll see what I can do with a tether cable or something and trying to put them on my SD card it doesn't seem to work

I'm just stating the fact that if you want to do a test grow you need a room with 2 group of tests subjects not just two plants. And most people don't have the space to do that kind of test grow. The more plants that you have any group the more conclusive hear results are. Even if you have to close to start out identical 1 of them to get farted on and work better.


Tell you what though if you going to do it D foliation test grow I'm thinking about since I have The group of 24 making for my patients. And me I might just take half of them and do that with. But since I have nothing but 1000 watt light my plants need to be for feet all because I hang a string for feet of my reflector have anything below that gets taken off the plant when I go into flowers because it's going to be just airy flufy shit. And also you need about 10,000 Lumines to make good dense buds. And I want to take full advantage of my 1000 watt light so it penetrates 4 feet from the reflectors. I work out of my home my girl works full time and I stay home dad with the new baby So I have add a bunch of time to work on things that's the main reason I had such a big outdoor crop this year. I have seen this done before I have another girl or that swears by it but then again he only uses compact fluorescents and he uses short plants under 2 feet tall. He also Braggs bad is weed and he's the kind of guy that would stick a whole intire phone is pissed off at you when you show him up . Well let's just say he was mad because everybody like mine better than his I got a hole in the sidewall of a 600 dollar bogger tire

I'm a leaf picker as well not quite as much as MJG.


Removing some leaves is necessary when you have chest-chin high plants. A lot of what people are stating is true. Leaves do conduct photosynthesis but there are also a lot of leaves on a plant. Anything but the pistils and stems are leaf matter. When vegging plants in a hydro setup under 1kwr's you end up cutting off branches it happens. You have to be selective. The root system will expand to compensate and that's the key. The root system isn't going to shrink if you cut a branch off. Ever notice that the tap root is almost identical length as the height of the plant? The secondary root structures have corresponding specific branches then those branches disappear it goes the other way more root so the plant grows more since it can be supported. It's also a way to let light penetrate.


We all have our own style of how we like to do things that said to each their own. I'll still end up on my couch smoking some stink stank stunk...

I know there are plenty of people puling 5 plus oz per plant. Just dont see many doing it with 3 foot tall plants

Update


Well here are the updated pictures of the LemonBerry test plants just 30 days into flower.


The second picture is some Madshack I will be chopping on Friday or Sat.


I expect to have around 5 ounces dry weight out of this plant.

I'm sure we've all asked a gazillion times, and you've probably answered at some point, but for the sake of being thorough so we all understand, what do you do to make your buds so frosty?


Is it some extra nutes? Temps? Do you keep the lighting times shorter to trick them? What's the deal here, bro? Nobody else on GK is producing buds as frosty as yours, even with the same strains.

 

Dont pay any attention. He flocks them like flocking a christmas tree before taking the pictures
