Havnt you ever seen a christmas tree flocking kit that you hook to a vacuum to flock a christmas tree??? t6
Hey ShadowWarrior, This is exactly what I do. I remove all fan leaves 7 days before I switch to 12/12. The reason I do this is because all the bud sites that were covered on a branch by the fan leaves tend to be under developed during flower because they (bud sites) don't get enough light. By removing the fan leaves these bud sites start to grow since they are getting light now. Those bud sites continue to grow and get larger now that the light can reach them. You can leave the fan leaves that do not cover bud sites. I will continue to remove new fan leaf growth for the first two weeks of flower. After the stretch is done then the buds just start filling in. I feed and water like everyone else. As far as all the frosty shots go I believe the trichcomes are reflecting back the flash and that's why it seems so frosty. I will turn the flash down and see if it makes a difference in the next pictures.:thumbs-up:
I dunno what he's doing, but I know others on GK use camera flash and nobody has frost like that! He's hiding a billion dollar secret!:new_blackey:
Took these pictures tonight. First two are the Lemonberrys in the test and the last picture is of MadShack. Enjoy!
gotta be honest, when you said that the Mad Shack would yield 5 ounces, I didn't think it possible. But the pic you posted changed my mind, its a damn impressive bush! awesome show dude, great work as always. got a question, would you say that you Mad Shack is further along in flowering than mine? How many days flower is your Mad Shack at? How many weeks does it take to finish?
Hey Link, Mine come down at 10 weeks. I've just kept cloning her over and over. Great producer. Hey Res, here is aside by side taken with the good camera.
That single main cola on the control plant looks to be carrying some weight. Hard to tell because of the different plant structures.
Weekly update. Here they are. Buds are really filling out now. The untouched plant main cola looks pretty good. Slghtly closer internode growth on the main Cola only. Both plants are really starting to smell great.! Very Lemon drop like and Citrus in smell.
it looks like the defoliated plant is a bit more frosty than the control plant. but I think the weight will be close
I think the size of the secondary buds on the defoliated plant will definately make up for the weight the cola on the "regular" grown one has on it. The girth of a couple of them look just as fat. I'm really liking this test and I'm a couple weeks behind your flowering time with 2 small defoliated Dabs, just to see for myself.
