Well I just finished chopping the Girls and both are very dense and hard!

They should be dry enough to get the final weights by Friday. :redbong:

    Final weights

    Here are the results.

The Defoliated plant has 1.8 oz/ 50grams, and the all natural plant has 1.7 oz / 48 grams

The biggest difference is the trim time is cut way down on the Defoliated plant compared to the non defoliated plant.:redbong:

Good job MGJ  Did the natural one have more popcorn buds than the defoliated?

My opinion no. But this is only one strain and test so there could possibly be differant results tech ect. But it has not convinced me to start doing it.

The buds on the defoliated plant were a little denser, maybe.

I think the advantage is the trim time was much shorter.

15 minutes shorter trim time. That can add up over a lot of plants.

I also never have a problem with any bud mold since I started doing the defoliation of the plants. I'm assuming it's because of the increased air flow.

Sry Mr. GJ's don't have time to read the entire thread. Did you defoliate just during veg, or did you keep at it all the way through flower?

So, no difference in yield, just less trimming. :thumbs-up:

At least it is good to know that clipping the leaves doesn't DEcrease yield.

    Thanks for the show. :bravo:
