so I went and got some dip and grow cloning sol. and took 12 clones yesterday and all's good so far. I hear good things about the rootech but, this is the 2nd time I've bought it an not had good results.Admin lynching It's been over about month of veg for the w/r and sage, they are bushy from all the topping /cloning. this is my first attempt at keeping moms...well if I can get these clones to root, I can figure out which are female and are gonna be moms.
definitely got the clone problem resolved, got the last of the 3 veg tables completed yesterday and got the door in the dividing wall moved to be able to fit a fifth 3x3 flowering table when needed. now I need to figure out how to deal the 4-5 moms I plan on keeping, i'm gonna start a new thread for those questions. the bud from the regy grow is cured and has a surprisingly fruity taste with some pretty dense buds.
got the 3 tables in the veg room fired up with plants, made a shelf for the clone dome to get it up and out of the way (it's full of clones). fixing to sex the first batch as soon the roots pop out of the r/w in a couple of days
All 6 plants (4 rhino's and 2 sage) are female. I just put 2 bubbleicious in to sex those. Now I got to decide on which ones are gonna be mom's and which one PPP or Bubba Kush to germinate next.
I've got plants in all 3 veg tables, 6 to 8 per table. got clones from all 8 plants going. Might lose a few when the 2 bubbleicious show their sex in a couple more days. I'm getting a better clone rate since I started shaking out a little more water from the rockwool cubes.
Both bubbleicious plants turned out to be male, now my veg room looks empty without all those clones. Still got 5 more of those seeds, Oh well more room for the next strain.
After scrolling through the pics of my last grow I just don't understand what could have changed between then and now:bduh:
Plants are in their 4th week. Of the 4 white rhino, 2 are bushier with bigger flowers so I'm thinking one of those 2 is gonna be the keeper. One of the sage is s little bushier than the other but those still have 7 more weeks, so it's still a little soon to know for those 2. Gonna make a strain decision and germ some seeds today.
some pics of the prospects. these 2 have thicker buds than the other 2 first choice front and center, plant is pretty much uniform, nice buds sorry for the blurry pic, I forgot to turn the fan off. second choice front right. this one has the thick buds but not as uniform as the first notice the damn near 3 foot branch next round getting ready. of these the clone on the left in the middle is the first choice for being a mom something keeps telling to grow all white rhino out again hopefully healthy this time to determine a mom. i'm thinking with the issues I had they didn't get a good chance to show their potential
Flower table is looking good, I stripped all the lower growth that at week 4 are not bigger than a pea. The main colas are really developing nicely. The roots are nice and fresh looking now, but still have some issues with the tips of the leafs looking burnt. I'm going to the grow shop after work for nutes, cal-mag and some rockwool cubes. Hopefully by Monday all issues will be solved.
Right on man. Gotta question - how do you get under the table lid? Looks screwed down. You know for cleaning and such. :bravo:
FF, i pop the few screws out with a cordless, I have some metal rails that go around the edges to keep it a little flatter. i had 'em on last go-round, but with the issue that i had i didn't worry about it. i'm gonna get the table next to it filled and fired up this weekend. i'll put the rails on 'em then.
week 5 second round took some picks of week 5, I think I figured out how to adjust the size of the pics before I upload them: nope that didn't work notice the diff between the plants both are w/r the clones from this one are gonna be moms garden shot sage in the middle the other sage plant well that's week 5, still getting a few yellow leaves and haven't been able to get any cal-mag till tomorrow.
Man I'm having a rough season in the veg room, between the little green worms and the soapy water I used to kill them, I almost wiped out all the plants. I lost the white rhino clones that were from the best plant. Gonna try to re-veg that one. I pulled the clones from the 2 w/r that have long funky looking bud like things instead of buds like the others. The Sage seems to be holding up pretty good to all the stress. I'm waiting to cut fresh clones till they all look healthy again
Wr1, if you look at that pic below you can see a comparison of the wr2 and wr4 looking all funky, wr3 is about the same as 4. Wr2was kicking ass but started a late flower stretch and shot a stem out of the top. So just the top looks like that. Wr1 is looking like it should. Both sage look to be good phenos.
Hey GiTX that one WR looks more sativa then any indica in the mix. Man are her leave's long and skinny. :redbong:
