Well I am glad I am jumping in on this. I have 3 GHS Cheese going now. They are to date the best looking plants I have grown. They have nice tight dense buds with a sweet sweet aroma to them. Just to give you a little info on me...I have been smoking religiously for going on 9 years now and had never even heard of the Cheese strain until joining this forum. I am from a big city and we get a lot of very good bud. So I wasn't buying the seeds because I thought they were "UK Cheese". I bought the GHS cheese for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted Fem seeds, just to give them a try, Never getting them again. Second, They were DECENTLY priced, something like 45 dollars or something. Third, To be honest, I saw the youtube video and thought how nice those plants looked (mine do look like those). I would say I bought into their marketing, which is good for them because they are doing something right. I have a couple of pros for you...I had perfect germ rate, but it WAS only 3 seeds. I have heard nothing but good think in terms of germ rates...They are all roughly the same looking and smelling...Super resin packed...VERY easy to grow with no deficiencies Cons...I do think its Bullshit that they took the Cheese name. I never knew the REAL cheese before I bought the GHS Cheese. I dont really have any others. All in all, without having smoked the plant yet, I really like the GHS Cheese. I don't care if its not a UK Cheese because I didnt buy it expecting it to be. I know better tho now thinking back. If I knew there was a real cheese, I would think twice about buying them. I am interested in trying their standard seeds like Hawaiian Snow or El Nino. I will NEVER buy FEM seeds again tho because my Barney's Sweet Tooth (Which THEY STOLE THE NAME TOO! BUT I KNEW THAT ALREADY!) had hermed.
CK UK Cheese clone (also commonly called the Exodus cut) should not smell sweet at all. It should like dank musky basement full of fermenting cheese like gouda. No sweet smell in it at all. UK Cheese is a freak pheno from Sensi Seeds Super SKunk circa 1988-89. The Super Skunk is SKunk #1 x Afghani pheno of Skunk. The afghani pheno is also from the same genetic base, just an indica leaning pheno. Cheese has Sativa like growth, with sativa bud formation. Glad you had good germ rates on the 3 you did CK. If you buy the Hawaiian Snow, you need to buy 4 packs and sort through them to find a keeper. A lot like Nevilles haze, it takes quite a few beans to get a keeper. Most reports are pretty bad. Buy La Nina from Mr. Nice, not the F2 from GHS. Shanti bred it, and his selection for parentals is superior to most. I am not sure if GHS has the original parental stock or not, but it doesnt matter. Side by side of grows of La Nina and El Nino consistently show La Nina as superior. Its all about selection my friends!

Holy cow, after reading all three pages of this thread I feel like I am going to weed college. I have a lot more reading to do on this subject, but I feel like I am going to jump in the deep end of the pool and get started soon.
