Its now 17 days in the big cups.... almost time for transplant. I topped them and pinched them. They are thriving and yesterday I managed to get my temps in the 400W MH section to stay 75-77. so I put the lil opnes under that. Last feeding was as follows and measurements per gallon pH'd to 6.5...


ROOTS Organics products...

Just noticed the soil. Did you give up on hempy?

Yeah man Hempy and I didnt seem like a good fit... Couldnt keep em happy.... I may try it again someday but for now its soil and organics.... as you can see my babies seem happy.... thanks

 

What problems did you have with hempy? I saw you do it once and that run came out great.

 

Actually the first run was decent but I didnt even avg an oz/per plant dried. The buds were not dense at all. Seemed the plants had all kinds of issues throughout flower as in lockout, toxicity, etc... So when I pulled the root balls out of the pots they were packed with roots.... so I dont get it.

 

Ok 20 days into veg... transplanted into final pots. I have 3 Superoots Air Pots 2.4 gal and 3 reg 2 gal square pots... You will see which is which... I watered them in with the following per gal...


Hygrozyme 7.5mL


ROOTS ORGANICS(RO) Extreme Serene 5mL (liq. kelp supposed to reduce stress)


RO Trinity 5mL (Bio Catalyst)


Epsom Salt 1/2 tbsp (Mg dont want to wait for the inevitable def.)


These were "brewed" for 24hrs and was nice and froathy

Under the 400W MH

 

So that ever present Ca/Mg deficiency has reared its ugly head.... So last feeding I added some epsom salts... New growth isnt showing it so we shall see

 

BB, hempy didn't like me either. Oh well, onto bigger and better things. Wait till you see the size of the LA's fan leaves. every one I did had leaves go from my finger tips up to my forearm. The largest leaves I've ever seen. Good luck on this grow. I think you should try to stay with the same nutes till you get them down. It seems to me you keep switching your nutes.

 

Don't like the roots based nutes at all.... every time I mix up the buddha grow its like pH at 4.... even when followingtheir reccommendations and brewing it for 24 hrs.... that's just plain too low for me. I don't like adding all that pH up.


P.s. I love house and garden nutes.... problem is only place that sells them has a dog that bit me last time I was there. The clerk at the store who owns the dog then tried assaulting me and I had to knock hisass out and call the cops. So no more H&G for me lol... I like canna but their organic line has. Ton of sediment in the bottle that won't mix when shaken. And their bloom boster is wicked expensive....

Send him a letter from your lawyer. That will ALWAYS get his attention.

Rather not draw to much attention.... he is lucky I didn't have scotch that day. He would have destroyed that dudes dog. And the dude was the one who woke up on the floor....

 

Should have grabbed a couple bottles on way out for your troubles. Store owner is responsable to keep his dog in control at all times. The dude owes you. He should know that you could press charges against him and sue his ass. The house and garden nutes shouldn't draw any second looks from anybody. They scream "outdoor garden" not "weed garden".

 

Try the GH ORGANIC line, its fairly cheap and ive heard GREAT things from a few local growers

I remember when i was a kid, my uncle made a german shepard goofy after a haymaker to the head(dog had already bit a few people and him).......the dog was running full force at him,jumped thru a screen door and chased him about a 40-50ft, my unc turned around and tagged the dog on his snout and it was a wrap......they had to put the dog down a few days later, braindamage.........SORRY NEIGHBOR!!!!! buuuuut ya shoulda had your dog better trained i guess

 

seeing when I left cops were there not to mention the dudes 14 yr old cousin who was helping him with a delivery. It wasnt the owners dog it was an employee who works there's dog. its a chain throughout a few northeastern states

I did try the GH General Organics.... the base nutes were fine and my plants loved em in veg....but the Ca/Mg seemed weak as i was doubling the amount and still had def. and in flower it seemed the plants I was feeding just neptunes harvest and molasses were out performing the GO line

 

25 days of veg


Here they are at 25 days of vegging. I took 2 clones from each and defoliated them. They have been topped once and pinched several times. I have even pinched all the shoots.There is a huge difference in just five days. The Ca/Mg issue seems resolved for now. Heres what I watered with.... mL/gal
