I think I am getting it down good now, almost professional

here is some water wash in the first pic its the oil floatin on da water.second pic is on the heatin pad tryin to get it to budder up and finally i got sick of waiting and went for the scrape but it still hits smoothe as silk 2 grams out of a half oz pretty good. thanks useless

post scrape buddered upcodegreen I placed boiling water in a pyrex dish let the butane hitt the water (its insolubule) so the oil immediatly precipitates out of the water and floats on the top, I swish the pan around the oil congregates on the sides of the dish. I dump the water out. scrape up the still saturated water oil emulsion. I then place the wad of goo in the middle of the plate and i use a steamer setup or double boiler same difference to evap the h20 from the oil. once the bubbles are very fine and diffuse i place it on a heating pad for an hour or so on high and stir it up with a pic. this one was ground whole nugs of colas it probably would have crystallized and turned to a true budder or paste ie "hippe crack" but the doctor gets impatient at times and scraped as is. the last run of whole nugs buddered up very fast

You oughta try keeping the hot water away from the oil, use the double boiler FIRST, scrape the oil up when warm/sticky, it's lighter colored and tastes better if you don't heat it that much/add water to the terpenes.

thanks wawona and sgtsmoke and code greentug whats up how you been? yeah i did your way last time and got it to fully budder up but i wanted to see if it would be smoother by water washing the butane out immediately as it hits the water opposed to the standard purge you were describing here is a pic of the way u just described

well, it seems to have just died in here. I miss this thread. Any way, my BHO tube is on the way. I'll have a harvest coming in a few days. along with some mighty frosty trim I have been saving, should make a cupl good runs. it'll be my first BHO experience. I've had a cupl relatively successful WQISO. Prolly be a few days, but I am gonna post up some pics whether anybody want to see or not.


would love some tips or advice if anyone is lookin'
