    I found Lion. We are friends on Facebook.


    I found StrawberryCough in Maine.


    I found Boa. Can't remember where he is, but I did tell him I found him the last time I read something about site security.


    I found Canna in Cali. I think she moved to a near by town.


    I haven't looked for Mermaid, but I know she lives in New Jersey.

    I have no clue what you people are talking about site security.


    I know some people here in real life, other than that there's no connection at all between me and anything. Not a reference in an email that's traceable, not a fb message that's traceable with screen names...nadda except someones word which shit legally. People in legal states have it easy, nothing to worry about, others well thats a good reason not to ask or trade clones etc because then someone knows who you are and where you live. Always know who to trust and always limit who you have contact with if it's not someone you would actually have over for a beer


    But as far as site security, there is no issues at all. I for the life of me don't even understand how that would be an issue

    I'm sure it would be hard to find people through the site, but what we say will find us. Reading a first name one day by canna or another member, and the area she lives in another time, I'm sure I found canna. Pictures on facebook and growkind can confirm it. We don't realize what we say sometimes. Lion was easy.


    Anyway, what I'm saying, Admit to anything you want. I don't smoke, buy, sell or trade anything illegal.:321fu:

    Gifting outside of the confines of GK has been commented on since my tenure here. In the archives there's too many references to count. Herb, GJ, AverageJoe and myself have all openly acknowledged outside gifts of genetics. That's four of the five longest serving members of GK Admin.


    So here's the deal. We run the site. If tomorrow Webby Gj and I agree to sell weed via mail or opium to babies that's what we're gonna do. (Hopefully we're a little smarter than that, but you get the point.) Right now we want to run a cultivation/culture site that does not include "open" offers or solicitations for trades or sales. Trades arranged between members happen, it's the real world. We request, as a nod to whatever slim legal defense the site may have, that these arrangements not take place on GK.


    What we really want is contributing members honing their craft and excited new gardeners hoping to get their first harvest. What we don't need is a point by point debate over the intent or meaning of the GK TOU. Gj and I are quite content with our interpretation. And so is Webby since he seems fit to leave us in charge.

    GJ-Nice haul boss. Just like the time another member laid a shitpile of genetics on a bunch of us in Colorado a few years back. Anonymous friends are awesome!

    As far as security goes here at GK the members are safe unless they post


    Personal information on GK that could lead someone to them.


    like if you post on Facebook that your growing then they will come and get you. I would advise lock down your Facebook to protect yourself.


    I'm going to close this thread and say thanks again to my friend whom I know outside of GK, and for his gift of seeds to me. :bravo:
