I've used bubble magic machines in the past I wouldn't waste the time or money on that. The blender or a drill with a mixer will do that. I do it here and there, though to be honest it's really way to violent. Freezer and gentle mixxing Up and down does better than just swirling too. Cool thing about the machines is you can just walk away. Though you will get more debri in the final product. Also 73 and 90 are going to be your best and the full melt stuff. 120 can be mixed in but you will get carbon ash as a result. No biggie though. 25 and 40 bag for the dry stuff in the pipe, and the 160 for butter. 190 gets tossed with the 220. Also it's not a bad thing to use two buckets if mixing manually. Blender just stack them all, hand or drill mix. 220 in a bucket by itself, then the others in a separate. Seems to beat up the bags less over time. Though I wonder how that machines gentle setting works.
I mix mine up in a cooler. Saves wear and tear on the bags and the water and ice stays cold longer. Then just pour into the bags.
Damn good idea!! Think I might have a have one of those 5 gal round water coolers out in the building, if I can get it clean. Be Cool, CG
I was thinking the blender seemed pretty violent, even though I was trying be easy with it. It turned out good though, better than what I've ever gotten of the street. I couldn't understand what the big deal was about hash but the stuff i have been making since i started growing gets me super baked.:flipando:that's me after i tried my first batch of bubble hash:roffl:
What bags do you have? Just bought some cheap iPower bags to check out. And finally retired the old original bubble bags. Work better than expected for the price. Was like $40. No seeping out the sides or anything. And hey not sure about you or anyone else. But instead of turning the bags inside out and rinsing after runs. I take a larger Bowl and set a bag in it and spread the screen out to cover the bowl. Blast some cold iso over the first bag then shake to agitate and dissolve. Do that with which ever bags you'd like to not waste. For me that 25-120. After all bags pour in a pyrex dish and evaporate. Then can use it to smoke, for edibles, or as I finally tried the other day make your own liquid for ecig style vapes with wick or wickless fed atomizers. Pretty nice mellow relaxing more body leaning high the way I made mine, more solvent than solute was reading some like 1:1 but I think that could get a little out of hand.... LOL
I got a set of Payload bags several years ago. Last year got a set of the lesser expensive ones to maximize working time and they seemed to work just as well. Didn't drain quite as fast but no big deal. I clean my bag screens in ISO and drain through a coffee filter into a pyrex dish. Makes some decent smoke. Then wash the entire bag in cold water. Be Cool, CG
the only tag on my bags say virtual sun hydroponics, I got them online about 3years ago for about $35. I was actually thinking about using some iso after I made it, but i'm out. it's only the 75 bag that looks pretty bad after about 8 uses. I usually just rinse them real good with cold water and put them back the bag they came in after they dry
Works great for the pen vape tank too. Doesn't taste near as good as the wax or full melt but man its great for traveling. Can have a decent amount loaded up. Doesn't smell, hits smooth. I got two different pens filled. One completely filled with a stronger mix and the blue one with a much weaker mix. Yeah I'm not disappointed with the cheap bags at all. Here's the link to the ones I purchased for anyone that may be looking for a set that reads this thread. No point in spending $150 for bags...:BangHead: http://www.amazon.com/iPower-GLBBAG5X8-5-Gallon-Essense-Extractor/dp/B006C6NY3Q/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t /monthly_2014_07/IMG_0748.JPG.3b0f69cb3509ea74a7911dd06c2f1a3b.JPG
Looks like they are still around. They have a 5 bag kit for sale for $21 now. http://www.amazon.com/Virtual-Sun-BM505G-5-Gallon-Extracts/dp/B00550EIDA/ref=sr_1_6?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1406332221&sr=1-6&keywords=virtual+sun
8 bags damn, I can see how that becomes a p.i.t.a. my son has a vape pen that came with interchangeable chambers,1 for wax and oil and the for hash. I was planning on getting that one. It comes in a 2 pack. I'm glad you posted that link skunky, looks like they got decent prices on lights.
Yeah, 8 bags is over kill. You might fuck with using all of them once or twice then say fuck it and cut back to 5 maybe at most. My payloads came with 5 and I paid 135 bucks. They've paid for themselves several times over, but I only paid 40 for same ones Skunky posted at the hydro shop. And I use one of those bags for nothing but straining water going into the table resivoirs. Be Cool, CG
You might look at piecing one together. The blue one costs like $80 as a premade kit. The one on the right cost about $35-40 to make. Battery was $25, variable voltage with digital display innokin itaste vv3. Battery is also pass through do it uses usb micro cable to charge also Do you can charge while using. Tank was $5.99 and is rebuildable, called a vivi nova. The glass drip tip was $2. Have a 2 pack of gentlemans vape V2 reusable cartomizers for wax on the way now too. 0.5g capacity those added an additional $30. i like the one I pieced together better. Hits better, is variable, and battery lasts much longer.
Don't the e-cigs vaporize at a lower temp than a vape pen? I thought the combustion temp was on the low side for THC?
The blue pen had three chambers one for dry one for concentrate and one for liquid. The dry attachment actually combusts the dry buds. I don't use that attachment because it's not like a normal vape it's like an electronic joint. I'm also double boiling my mixture which dissolves and activates it to some degree anyway. The stone is more mellow mentally but more relaxing bodywise compared to vaping or smoking the same strains buds. Maybe some of those e cigs that look like cigs might not work for whatever reason but these work. There are quite a few people who've been doing this for a while.
Now I get it. So it's a pen made for more than just the simple cartridges. Makes sense now. Had a guy asking if I could make up an oil for his basic e-cig. After looking at what the working temps were I blew it off. Never figured there were more elaborate ones out there that do both.
:thumbs-up: Here are the links to what I have. Had this for about 6 months. Got it on sale for $56 http://www.gotvape.net/zema-pro-3-in1-vaporizer.html For the one I pieced together this is what I have. Though I think i might get a more basic VV battery. This innokin already threw a code. Think I'll opt fot a twist style instead of LED display. Cooler but more bullshit to go wrong. Have this Battery... http://shop.desertvapes.com/product.sc;jsessionid=EED64C7529ED70EE7076C1AA4E1A4EA0.m1plqscsfapp03?productId=859&categoryId=32 Probably going to exchange for this battery... http://shop.desertvapes.com/product.sc;jsessionid=EED64C7529ED70EE7076C1AA4E1A4EA0.m1plqscsfapp03?productId=1153&categoryId=32 Drip tip, http://shop.desertvapes.com/product.sc?productId=933&categoryId=129 Concentrate chambers. http://www.gentlemansvapes.com/products/hash-oil-atomizer Liquid tank atomizer, though my local place sells them for $5.99 http://www.myvaporstore.com/MINI_Vision_Vivi_Nova_Tank_System_Plastic_Tube_p/vs-mvnp.htm
