Or removing consumer protections from student loan debt as helpful to the poor. Or enacting trade barriers that drive up of costs of normal consumables as helpful to the poor.

What we need is a better educated populace whether it be trade, vo-tech, college or simply specific job training. A healthy populace that can afford to go to the Dr before illness becomes critical. A populace that isn't living with the highest incarceration rate of any country in the entire world. We need people who are educated enough, healthy enough and free enough to compete in a data based economy. Manufacturing is out the window, time to prepare and adjust is now. DJT is only promising old ideas that have already failed because the world isn't what it was 40 years ago when he last read an entire newspaper.

As for how growers can be for more government? Some are, some aren't. But what growers need to stand united against is any retrenchment of the war on drugs in general and push back by Feds against repealing cannabis Prohibition specifically. Yet even in this area, where it concerns DJT, you don't seem to give a fuck. Your fellow growers' safety and freedom matter less than a vote of frustration. That's what I find truly alarming in this discussion.

They are actually introducing legislation to end mandatory min sentencing, trying to reclassify, try to ensure states right that have recreational. It's why rand Paul will have a voice in healthcare reform even though most gop members hate him.

National Security

Eminent Domain

DJT has taken advantage of eminent domain laws to build his real-estate empire. Libertarians think that eminent domain is often exploited by the wealthy at the cost of average Americans and is a violation of our most basic rights.

War on Drugs

DJT has, in the past, advocated ending the ‘war on drugs’ because it is ineffective and wasteful. Lately, he seems to be adjusting his stance and claiming that it’s an issue for states to decide. Libertarians also think that the ‘war on drugs’ is ineffective and wasteful. In addition, we think the ‘war on drugs’ is one of the biggest violations ofAmericans’civil liberties as it has been used to put hundreds of thousands on non-violent people in prison.

DJT's AG has, and is currently, advocating increasing the 'war on drugs'. Thereby ensuring higher levels of incarceration and a growing private prison industry adding to taxpayer expense.

Gay Marriage

DJT has said that he thinks that gay marriage is an issue for the states. Libertarians think that the government has no business regulatinganyone’smarriage.

Justice System

DJT says he would be tough on crime via anti-crime policies. Libertarians also want to decrease crime but likely disagree with Mr. Trump on the nature of ‘crime.’ Libertarians are careful to differentiate between violent crimes and non-violent crimes, and also between crimes which involve a victim and those that do not. Currently, a huge percentage of our prison population is imprisoned for non-violent, victimless crimes such as marijuana use. 2nd Amendment

DJT has said that he is against limits on Americans’ 2nd Amendment Rights, but has supported the ban on so-called assault weapons and longer waiting periods to buy guns. Libertarians oppose all laws at any level of government that attempt to restrict, register, or monitor the ownership, manufacture, or transfer of firearms or ammunition.

In the first debate, Trump said, ‘Our leaders are stupid. Our politicians are stupid.’ Libertarians think big government policies are the problem, and smarter politicians with the same policies won’t help. America needs new policies and a new perspective focusing on smaller government, more liberty, and peace.
