I have been working on the new grow room setup and I finally have lights up and running in the new room and it's got ventilation so it's capable of being used now. So I moved the SSH Hempy girls into the new room and spread them out under 2 1k watt lights that I have setup and vented so far. I have more work to do on the room so I will be working around the light schedule for these girls, oh well. Took a few pics to show you guys and gals.

Thank you everyone that has checked in and has been following my grow. Here is my first update to my grow show for 2011.


mrsganjah and I took 46 clones tonight in preparation for when the new flower room is finished within the next couple of weeks. 38 Cotton Candy Kush clones and 8 Vanilluna Clones. The plan is that mrsganjah wants to grow some Vanilluna and we decided to use the 5'th 1k watt light to grow soil plants at least for now. The Vanilluna girls will go into soil and under the 5'th light. The 38 Cotton Candy Kush will go into the 4x8 flood table in 5"X6" square pots filled with hydroton. 1 plant per sq. ft so only 36 will be used there, maybe the other two in soil with the Vanilluna if all of them root well. I used Rock Wool plugs soaked in a light Nutrient solution of General Organics line, and I used RooTech rooting gel. They will root under 400 watts of T12 fluorescent lights mixed spectrum.

On the Hempy front, I have some minor problems developing with my girls. I have noticed that the leaves are starting to twist up on me, probably due to overdose of bloom nutes. I flushed them with plain pH'd water tonight so hopefully that will straighten them out and I can resume with a slightly lighter feeding schedule. They are sucking up a ton of water and I probably had some salt buildup in the perlite. The buds are forming up nicely though and they are developing some trichomes now. We are 23 days into 12/12

Another Update with Pics!


The Super Silver Haze plants in hempy are doing pretty good. We're at 29 days of 12/12. Since I just gave them plain water last time they have stopped twisting up on me but look hungry now so I fed them a full Strength General Organics Bloom nute mix with a little extra Veg nutes for extra N. plus Great White mycorrhizae. The buds look frosty and smell terrific already. I'll be letting these girls go right around 10 weeks if everything goes as planned. Here are a few pics of them.

Yeah they look pretty good, but not great. They were at first neglected while I was sick and suffered from deficiency and then they were overfed a little and had to be flushed and now they are starting to balance out. Hopefully yields will not be to greatly affected. Here is the foliage right now on one of the healthiest ones.

Yes sir! The Super Silver Haze is some really trichome covered buds. They get super frosty, especially when I do them in hempy containers. They seem to get even frostier than the soil grown ones. The buds have swollen just since their last feeding. I'm going to up the dose of Bio Bud I'm giving them to full strength next feeding and try and plump these girls up nice and fat. The SSH is a good yielder and I'm hoping to boost her yields further. I would really like to get 3 ounces per plant, but I would settle for 2 I guess.

 

with CO2, there should be no reason to pull less than 4oz a plant...good food, perfect temps, optimal CO2, correct humidity, a nice breeze.


only thing missing is an ice cold beer. :roffl:

 

Ahhh a cold beer.......... I can almost taste it.............. I gave up all alcohol, beer included, forever. I LOVED beer. Ohh well. I LOVE ganja more.


I'm STILL waiting on my Co2 regulator! It's supposed to be here today. So I can finally get it set up this week. I hope it really does help to increase my yields.
