The smell is wonderful, a bit floral but laced with pine and fuel. I really love this strain. We're doing things a bit differently than we have in the past. I have never chopped all the plants at once. I usually trim 1 plant at a time fresh until they are all done. Problem with that is that all the bud finishes drying and curing at different times. I wanted to have all the buds on the same schedule. So what we decided was to chop all the plants, strip all the fans off and rough trim the buds a little and allow then to hang dry as we trim them up. Seems to be working okay so far. mrsganjah is a trimming machine! I myself CAN do it, but I despise trimming and haven't done very much so far.
Very nice indeed. ha ha I bet the smell in that room is devine! I see the point on all drying at one time. Never tried that just figured they would be easier to trim the fully green leaves off before they start to dry and curl. I think Rocky does it the same way. All I know is it is a real pain in the ass and the last crop took me about four days to chop and trim....................ugh t6
That SSH looks fuckin dank man, you and the mrs. did a damn good job. I would have to setup my bed right below them so I could smell that all night:alien11:
Hey thanks everyone! I appreciate all the kind comments and words of encouragement. I put a lot effort and gave all my attention to these girls and in all honesty, they could have been better, but I am happy with my overall results from this round. It was a good chance to learn a little bit about the nutrients I'm using and what kind of results can be achieved with them. This round of SSH is up there with the best SSH I have grown. I know I can do better though. I want them to be perfect....... I guess I'll just have to keep growing!:thumbs-up: asssit:
This strain has kind of become my signature strain. People know me for the Super Silver Haze I grow. You better believe that I will be bringing some of this to the Greet! :thumbs-up:
my ganja brother you are a master... i would love a taste of your signature strain... truely beautiful man :flyy: :flyy: :flyy: :flyy:
Snapped a few pics of the hanging buds. They have been rough trimmed and will get a final trim before they go into the jars for a cure. They are looking good though and I think they will be easy to trim up.
Beautiful ras! So whats the verdict? Do you think its better hanging them all at once then trimming? t6
Well, I dunno for sure. It seems like cutting it all down has not been nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I think the final trim will be just as easy as if it was fresh, maybe easier. So when dealing with more than just a couple plants I think I will be doing it this way again in the future. I may invest in a trimming machine to do the rough trim and them do a final trim by hand.
No, it's just an optical illusion. I think it's caused by a group of pistils over a fat calyx. I haven't found any seeds in the Super Silver Haze yet.
