Got Some Good Bud Porn for you guys N girls out there in GK-Land! This is the Cotton Candy Kush (Cotton Candy X SFV OG) in the flood table today at 9 1/2 weeks. Hope you enjoy.....:bong-2: :bong-2:












































I was wishing for 2 ounces per plant with a total yield of somewhere around 3.75 lbs. but expecting closer to 1 ounce per plant with a yield of somewhere around 2 lbs. What do you guys think???asssit: asssit:

So I did snap a pic of an individual plant out of the table by itself.


Most of them were topped once and look like this...





About 1/2 dozen or so were un-topped and look like this...





There are 30 of them in the table.

 

Yes they were all from the same mother, essentially. I had two medium sized plants that I had taken from the main mother I keep and they vegged for too long and so I decided to take all my clones from them before I flowered them out. So the clones in the table came from the two soil Cotton Candy Kush that I just harvested a week or so ago. You can see them in an earlier post.


I can say this with certainty, that the ones that were not topped sure did get some gigantic colas on them, and the ones that were topped are covered in more uniform sized buds. My bet is that yields will be similar between topped and un-topped plants.


The reason some were topped and some were not was not originally to make a comparison, but it will be cool to see the difference. The real reason that some were topped and some weren't is because I simply needed to try and even up my canopy. There were about a half dozen that were smaller than the rest... so I topped the rest and let the shorter ones grow straight up. That is how it turned out.

Cotton Candy Kush Pics


Here are a few pics of the Cotton Candy Kush we just chopped down. Grown in a 4'X8' Flood table in SmartPots filled with hydroton and started in rock wool cubes. Fed using the Useless 3 Part Formula incorporating MOAB as the bloom booster. First time ever doing any actual Hydroponic style of growing. They went 10 weeks.

Thanks Tony and thanks everyone for your kind words. I am extremely happy with my results but by no means satisfied. I know I can do more plants in the table and I know I can further dial in my atmosphere for even better results, but I am soo happy that all my hard work on the room and $$ spent on equipment has been able to produce a favorable result.


I acquired her from a dispensary along with my Master Kush. I have not found anywhere to buy Cotton Candy Kush seeds. The Genetics are supposed to be Cotton Candy(BlueberryXAfghani) X SFV OG Kush There is also another strain called Candy Kush that is available in seed form but is supposed to be Trainwreck X SFV OG Kush and is also very popular right now, but as far as I know the Cotton Candy Kush is hard to find and somewhat rare. I dunno how I lucked out with this strain, but I honesty had no idea that she could or would turn out like this.
