Ras, as always, through this thread your buds are lookin grand! enjoy! i like your varieties. i have been stuck in a rut growin what i know. too impatient to deal with seeds, and kinda stuck on the clone supply, but still super happy with the PK. shes an easy cloner and easy feeder. always a nice bud. you are right......pk is very similar structure to the ssh u have there. i think in the end it will look a little different though. we will see. too bad we cant swap. how long does the ssh flower for? the pk is very fast, 40-45 days. doesnt like a lot of food either.i used to grow her to about the same size plants you do and she did well. now i'm tryin less plants and much bigger. she seems to like that also. in 3 weeks i will know which way is better. keep up the good work ras. great to watch your grow. hoots
Truley delicious looking buds bro. I am suuuuuuper picky and I would be very pleased to buy or smoke those gorgeous flowers any day!
Thank you all so much! Thanks billy! I dig your grow too. I will definitely be enjoying these strains. I am very thankful to Jah for the bounty of herb in which he has provided for me. The ganja herb is truly a gift from Jah and a blessing for all humankind. I've been lucky enough to have been born a Californian, so I live in a very tolerant state with medical laws and dispensaries where I was able to get clones of well known high quality genetics from some of the best breeders in the world. It's all the genetics, I'm a complete amateur, with professional aspirations. To answer your questions regarding the similarities and differences of our strains, my SSH takes about 9 - 9 1/2 weeks to mature from the time I flip them to 12/12, and she's a hungry bitch. I feed her full strength continually from veg through till week 7 and she loves it!, This last harvest I slacked a little on bloom nutes and missed 1 or 2 feedings and it showed in the overall yield. The buds are just as good but I think I could have pushed them harder and yielded more. I'm glad all of you are enjoying the show. Stay tuned cuz "this train is bound for glory!" I love to grow and I love to share. Canna- someday we will match bowls of some of our finest ganja. I look forward to it! :thumbs-up: :beerchug-2: asssit: RR- as always thanks for stopping in and taking a look, I always value your input or praise! The honor is all mine my brother! :beerchug-2: ShoTyme- You're my favorite new member, I dig your enthusiasm! You seem to love the herb a s much as I do. If you ever come out to Cali, you need to look me up! Cheers brother! :beerchug-2: asssit:
Ras that means a lot to me man. I'm on a count down I'm coming back out there august 11th 2011. Half of my family is in LA. My father lives in Baldwin hills. I lives out there off and on for over 6 years when I was in elementary and middle and 1 year of high school at Dorsey. I miss LA soo much its like I crave it. But I can't wait till I get back there Ras I'm definitely going to hit you up first thing off the plane!asssit: It would also be nice to stay long enough for the 2011 meet N greet, that's something to think about :bong-2:
Yea that does sound like a good idea! Maybe the Mods might want to take that into consideration. There is some beautiful camp grounds like Crystal Lake and Big Bear, I'm sure there are better sites but these are a couple of nice ones I remember.
The purpose of the meet & greet happening in September this year is to plan an event for 2011 in CA provided that the new law legalizing cannabis for recreational purposes gets passed this November. My vote for the location goes to Humboldt County somewhere near Garberville or Redway, or even the lost coast or King's Range area. In fact King's Range has some nice secluded campgrounds that are absolutely beautiful. There is something magical about the Northern Cali coast amongst all the ancient Redwoods.:thumbs-up:
I haven't stopped by in awhile. It's been a crazy world lately. Anyway, those are some outstanding looking nugz you got there, as always. I'm not sure I've ever seen a bud in your garden that I would love to kick back and enjoy. Very sweet looks plants all the time. Great job and thanks for sharing. Ohhh BTW, I hope your able to make it out this year, if not I'm sure next year will be just as good.
Rky- Glad you stopped in and enjoyed our pics, we really enjoy sharing our grow experience with everyone. We're hoping to make it to the meet and greet but we won't know if we'll be able to until closer to the time of the event. I have a lot of things going right now between all our animals, our garden here at home, and a new business venture that will hopefully be taking off very soon. If we can get away for the week we will definitely be there. :thumbs-up: Update time: The 1000 watt room is almost finished up. Just 3 bagseed girls and a white widow left and they will probably be done any day now, we're coming up on 11 weeks. There is also the mystery Kush that has a couple weeks left still. I will be putting in a bunch of new clones either tonight or tomorrow. It's gonna be like 8 SSH and 5 Luna and 3 BB. We have chopped Widow #1 & #3 as well as both BB. Here are a couple pics of the Luna buds as well as some pics of the WW #1 & #3 The Luna Buds all trimmed up. This is the mutant Blueberry that went 10 1/2 weeks. Started to foxtail a little bit on me. The buds are SUPER fat and juicy though! This is the Widow #1 And finally the Widow #3 Update on the 600 watt room: We are at 4 1/2 weeks in the 600 watt room. There are 2 OG Kush, 1 Cotton Candy Kush, 2 Blueberry, and 1 Super Silver Haze. There has been a pretty big explosion of growth on these girls and I'm hoping that the OG Kush and Cotton Candy are going to be as good as my Master Kush. Here are a few pics. OG Kush Cotton Candy Kush That's it.....for now. :thumbs-up: :bong-2:
Wow Ras! That luna is beautiful! She started to purple at the tips and got all frosty. You still just using the alaska and molasses?

Nice little hideaway you got there. A moist basement is always nice as long as it gets good lighting and you seem to be all over that. Great job
Thank you, thank you. :bong-2: sho*tyme- yes it was all Alaska and Molasses.:thumbs-up: Glitterpixiee- Ask away girl! We have a few good ones and would love to share recipes. Ganja as well as other Vegan/Vegetarian favorites! We have a killer vegan "cheesy" sauce that is AWESOME! Great for making scalloped potatoes! :droooling: :thumbs-up: johard59- Basement?..... I live in a mobile home in southern CA, we don't have basements! :roffl: Maybe you confused me with someone else or misunderstood my setup. Anyway :-welcome-: to my grow thread and I hope you enjoy the show! We have the lighting covered for now, 1600 watts HPS for flowering + more for the veg. and more to come as we expand and upgrade!:thumbs-up: Peace and Love y'all! asssit: asssit: asssit:
¿Mystery Kush? So here's an update on the last plant left in the 1000 watt room. She went in a couple weeks later than the rest. I acquired her as a clone from the same dispensary where I got my Master Kush clones, she was labeled as a Master Kush but there is no way she is Master Kush, I would doubt that she even has any Kush genetics in her lineage. She has a mostly Sativa appearance and growth pattern with a significant stretch during flowering, she forms up some fairly dense long slender spear shaped buds of small calyxes covered with small glistening trichomes. She is at 10 weeks and I think she should be ready any day now. She wreaks of sour ammonia so strong it burns the nostrils. Here a few pics of the Bagseed buds. They came out AWESOME! This is the best it has done so far since I have been growing it indoors. Smoke Reports: Strain------------ White Widow #4 This pheno of the WW is very potent with a very Indica type high that hits hard and fast and will relax your body and put you to sleep if your not careful. Smell is unremarkable, slightly sour with heavy earthy smell. Taste is mild with a slightly earthy after flavor, but smokes smooth. Best out of the Vaporizer. Appearance------7.0 Aroma-----------6.5 Flavor------------7.0 Potency----------9.5 Overall-----------7.5 ------------------------------------------------------------- Strain------------ White Widow #3 This Pheno is similar in appearance to #4. More of a mixed Sativa/Indica high that is somewhat of a creeper. It has a slightly sweeter aroma than the others but the flavor is plain. The smoke is smooth and pleasurable though. Appearance------7.0 Aroma-----------7.0 Flavor------------7.0 Potency----------6.0 Overall-----------6.75 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Strain------------ White Widow #1 This Pheno looks prettier than the others, it has a frostier appearance and looks more white than the others which all have crazy long red hairs that dominate the appearance. It smells more piney and has a better flavor as well with hints of sweetness and pine finishing with the same earthy notes as the others. The high is a more Sativa high that is slow to come on, not as relaxing of a body high with much more cerebral effects, I find it to be motivational. Appearance------7.5 Aroma-----------7.5 Flavor------------7.5 Potency----------7.5 Overall-----------7.5
Nice Ras. Be sure you log those into the smoke report section. http://www.growkind.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=93
Damn Ras! I would loooooove to try that cotton candy kush! They all look fantabulous!!! Some things never change! Peace -LM
It's harvest time again! I love this!! So here are some shots of the Super Silver haze from this round. They look pretty damn good to me, what do you guys think? Thanks for looking! :thumbs-up:
