What we're up to at the moment. Thanks B4E! We enjoy it when others enjoy our posts and pics. We aim to try and help others learn and to inspire through action. :thumbs-up: On another note, up until last week (Sunday) we had a good friend living with us. He had lived with us previously (he went through a nasty divorce, he's a good friend etc. etc.) and had moved out for a while and returned when he had to move out of that place after about 8 months and so without getting into a long and drawn out drama of our personal lives, we had an altercation (I snatched him up by the throat) that broke the friendship and I had to throw him out. Anyway he was someone I considered my best friend and so I'm bummed, but I think maybe in the end it's best for him and us and he'll hopefully pick himself up and be better for it in the end. So the point of this whole story is I have been neglecting my plants and my garden and home for a while now, so that accounts for the lack of grow updates. things have been going but being somewhat neglected. Well I am back on track now, I have to move forward with things and I intend to be back in the growroom with a newfound intensity! :thumbs-up: So here is what I'm working on right now. These are 8 Master Kush plants in soil under my 600 watt light. They were just transplanted from their small pots. They were totally root-bound and obviously N deficient. I just transplanted and fed them a day ago and believe it or not they are greener than they were (poor babies):eusa_doh: So I will be vegging them until they are healthy and I want to top them a couple more times before switching them to 12/12. i've only flowered this strain out once with one clone to test it, and it was awesome so I am hoping for better results this time around. We're going with the Flora Nova Nutes and they are in Gold Medal Plus Dr Earth potting soil. The 1000 watt room is finishing up a run of mixed strains. Some SSH and some White Widow (I'm flowering out several moms of various strains that I'm not keeping) some OG Kush, some vanilluna, some blueberry and some mystery strain. That should all be done within 3 weeks, some will be harvested now at 9 1/2 weeks but a couple strains will go 13 weeks. So while those are finishing I'm starting my next run of Super Silver Haze in Hempy. I haven' done a run of anything in Hempy for quite a while so I look forward to seeing again the explosive growth rates of the plants in hempy. I made hempy containers out of plastic black trash cans. I drilled about 50-60 small holes instead of drilling a big hole and covering with a screen. It works just as well and requires no additional materials. They are smaller than the 5 gallon buckets I have used in the past. So there are 8 of these girls for this round. I'll also be doing a couple Cotton Candy Kush in soil and probably something else to fill in the extra space if I need to. Or maybe I'll grow these 8 into some trees, I'm not sure. For now they are vegging under 24o watts of mixed spectrum fluorescent tubes. 3, 4 foot dual tube shop-light fixtures in my living room on my desk! I ran outof space so I improvised a catch tray and there they will grow for the time being. :thumbs-up: So that is what we have been working on. We'll be updating more often so stay tuned it should be fun! :hs: :leafdance: :hs:
Okay buds this time around. Thanks everyone, we enjoy sharing our garden with all you fine folks. :anithanks: :urock: :GK: Here are a couple shots of the Super Silver Haze. We are harvesting them now one plant at a time. They aren't the best becuz of the neglect factor but next run will make up for these. They're still good just not my best.
600 watt room 8 Master Kush Here's an update on the 8 Master Kush girls n the 600 watt room. You can see the difference from the first pic up above and how they look now. They are nice and healthy now and we're gong to flip them to 12/12 tonight. This strain s AWESOME! We can't wait for them to flower and be done! Thankfully they are fast and should finish in around 8 weeks.:droooling:
Looks great Ras, makes me miss my SSH. I had a good mom that I kept around for years. Keep up the good show! -tC
Thanks Tex and TC. I'm glad you guys dropped in to take a look. You both grow dank herbage and I value you praise and or criticism. We're working on a few upgrades to the grow so hopefully 2011 will see some exciting improvements. :thumbs-up: :bong-2: The hempy plants are starting to finally take off. I think their roots are finally reaching the reservoirs. They look nice and green and healthy under the fluoros. I recently did a super trim of all my mothers since they were outta control huge. They are all roughly the same height now. I had 10 strains going but I'm narrowing it down to more like 6 or 7 hopefully. Some just weren't keepers once I flowered out a test plant. The keepers as of now are as follow: 1-Super Silver Haze (I started a new mother from a recent cutting so she has to grow for a while before I can clone her again) 2-DJ Short's Blueberry (started a new mother of this strain as well) 3-Master Kush 4-Cotton Candy Kush 5-Chocolope x Boysenberry (still haven't been able to clone this bitch! or flower a test plant) 6-OG Kush (was sort of happy with this one. had a good flavor and big buds but I think it could be denser) 7-DJ Short's Vanilluna 8-Bagseed (good srtrong sativa dominant mexican descent bagseed) The 8 Master Kush are looking great and I flipped them to 12/12 3 days ago. I'm gonna give their final dose of veg nutes tonight and then in another week or so they will start getting their bloom nutes. I'm super excited about this run of the Master Kush since I have only flowered it out once and only 1 plant that didn't receive the amount of care and attention it deserved and the buds were still phenomenal, so I fully expect to improve on those this time around. I plan to give them all the TLC they deserve. Stay tuned it should stay interesting. asssit:
Hell of a line up guys! I'm jealous on a few of those mother plants, Makes me want to buy more seeds lol
Very nice Ras :not-worthy: Good job.. That line up should work out nice for you! I look forward to seeing them in full flower. opcorn-2: opcorn-2:

Pics of the Master Kush 6 days from 12/12 These master Kush are 6 days since I switched them to 12/12 under our 600 watt light. I just gave them a final dose of veg nutes and they will get water for a week and then bloom nutes. :thumbs-up:
This is one nice grow! A couple of questions; With reference to the 1k room; What size pots are you using as the final size, after your last transplant? How large/tall are you letting them get before you flip the light? How many weeks does it take to get them to your required height before you flip the light? How many plants were/are in the 1k room? What was the final weight of the 1k room? Major props man, you done good! :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up:
