You know CC, I did a side by side comparison with removing leaves from plants up to three weeks into harvest, next to plants that no leaves were removed on and I still ended up with more weight in bud from the plants that were plucked verses the plants where the leaves had not been plucked. :bong-2:
Heyo our Big Bubble in dirt is 6 days behind this table of yourn. That is one BEAUTIFUL manicure job. Man you are SAILING on the SOG. CC, I trim fans to expose bud sites into week 3. A little at a time, as the mood suites me. No ill effects at all. I try to trim the fans as close to the stalk as I can. asssit:
i did that almost exact thing i filled the tray with hydroton and flood and drained it opcorn-2: good idea
I've had a habit of plucking the sun leaves when they'd shown a little yellowing. I just never did like the look of them covering up buds. So plucking them a little sooner wouldn't bother me at all. I was just thinking, didn't you used to work for Captain Kangaroo back in the 60's?:roffl: Be Cool, CG
You're getting on up there if you can remember who Captain Kangaroo was. I watched him and Mr G every Saturday morning. Usually in my underwear with a bowl of cereal in my lap. Ahh the good ole days!! Be Cool, CG
Looking good mrg. Thankfully you won't be to far into flower with these for the contest, lol CC, I disagree, laying rock around the base makes the plant way more stable. I've a real issue with top heavy plants (not like that's a bad thing)
Theres 3-4 other ways to achieve the same thing and it doesn't involve spending $50-80bux to fill a 3x3 table or 2x4 and washing lil pebbles, then digging rootmasses out of them and rewashing them with whatever product you choose, which cost more money, compounded by however many tables by however many runs and HOPING that you get them clean, only with the hopes of using them again...if you run multiple tables....by the end of the year you can expect to be about $1,000 to 1,500 lighter in the pocket and about 100 labor hours less of time in your life, let alone all the bending over and lifting and bullshit to go thru the routine I use 4x4 rockwool blocks and trellis netting and have run 5+ tables for over 3 years, Ive never had a single plant tip over, EVER
I'm loving the tables GiT. My back is loving it too! I'm converted. :thumbs-up: It should be all bud growth from here. :redbong:
taking note! Looking just great man. Now after you chop and it only takes you a half hour to clean up before the next tray goes in you'll be a true convert. :thumbs-up:
agreed....It takes me about 15mins to clean the table and ressy and then set it back up, cant beat that timeframe and all there is to do is toss out the cruddy water Best move is to get yourself a pack of SCOTCHBRITE scrubby pads to clean out the table n' ressy....they work great and are super cheap, I get about 4-6 uses from each one till I feel theyre funky enough to toss out
Looking very nice sir, very nice. Tables are the shit, that's for sure. I just wish I could figure out a decent solution for my small space here.
This table is 2 ft by 4 feet long FF. Heres a shot with the lights off. Man is this table going to fill up. :coolbounce:
