Mrg those are coming along great. I can't wait to see them in a couple more weeks. The only problem I've had so far using just the blocks is when I first put them in. They "move with the tide." Not much but they do get a little out of position till the roots get to holding them in place.
Ive never had that problem, mine get wet and that weight holds them in place alone with the square that they are dropped into on the panda that covers the tabletop I used to use a 8-10inch tall white square pot and put the rockwool into that then surrounded that with hydroton, then one day I ran out of pots and just dropped the block in....it was so much less work at the end, I switched for good Not sayin my way is the best, it just works the same as the others IMO...and waay less work and less $$
Oh, I'll keep using the 4" squares myself. They just move a little toward the drains. II just pull them back and about a week later they're all set. I was using pots with hydroton in them and I found that it sucked. Some plants were further down than others and the stems were rotted on one or two, which naturally screwed them up.
what strain is that again? love that sight tho....lookin badass, cant wait for the next 4 weeks to go by...guna be killer!!!! How bout the less than a few hours you spend in the room now tho?
LOOKING GOOD!! I noticed some marks on the pvc like they had been glued but didn't see any signs of cleaner of adhesive. I put mine together the other day and just dry fit everything figuring the netting would be more than enough to hold it together. Any suggestions? Be Cool, CG
Thanks CCrete, yea I love the freed up time.:thumbs-up: There are two strains there. On the left side of the table, Jila from useless, 4 plants. On the right side of table, 4 lemon smelling Lemonberry from fusion seeds. Both strains will go 10 weeks for flower. :redbong:
Hey CG, I dry fit all pvc together then glued it together. I hand tied the net and put a drop of plumbers goop on the thread where I tied each point together. I'm super happy with the results so far.:thumbs-up:
I had noticed the alignment marks on the fittings which suggests adhering. You were a lot neater than plumbers with the cleaner and glue but yours doesn't have to hold pressure. I also wondered how you kept the net holding it's perfect shape, that's a great idea. Be Cool, CG
That looks awesome Mr.G I can't wait to see what they look like when they finishopcorn-2::thumbsup:-Bud
It looks like a computer wallpaper pattern. Or one of those seemingly blank pictures you look at for a long time until the image jumps out at you. :jj: :bravo: Double rainbow! ScrOF Screen of Frost
