New Build...24x18x10 @ 12-16K watts (2 rooms)

The "lung" room is no more...just a hangout spot now, trim spot, supply place


I had originally made the entire grow spot a sealed unit but then in keeping my normal grow, I added a super fan and tried to do it like I was used to and refresh the rooms with exterior air, then condition the air in the lung...but it became a major pain in the ass for heating issues, too many fluctuations and far too great of a OFF to ON temp swing


Now its back to sealed and with Co2...smooth sailing now, always 80-85F...40-50RH and from 1125-1300PPM on Co2, goes to about 70 at OFF for temp

 

For one, Co2 isn't that easy to source, typically you only have a few options in your town/area...plus it only has a few uses, and bottles only come in smaller tank, yes you can get the bigboys but for me a pain


Propane you can get anywhere and look like your refilling for your grill, but then again they give off a good bit of heat for about 20-40seconds every 2 hours or so (in my case) but you can kill the heat with a water cooled unit if needed, some need the extra heat tho..


One thing Ive read over and over is that the Burner units keep up a lot faster/ efficiently...also keeps the room more saturated from corner to corner than a bottle system


One other thing....my plants doubled in budsites/size from ALL of my other runs, extremely impressed, the ressys are ALL needing refilled/topped off at a fast rate, which only means good things....root masses are doubled too which means one thing, MORE BUD!!!!

 

CO2 makes a world of difference. I can't imagine myself growing without it. But like CC said you can't just go anywhere and get a bunch without questions. I've gotten a couple from the beer and coke delivery trucks that come to the country club and a local bottled gas company using the excuse that I have a bar with a keg setup at home but I didn't want to push my luck with them.


Now I have 5 tanks, to keep the trips down to a minimum, so I only have to exchange them every other month or so at a hydro shop a couple hours away. They're really good, I just call when I see I'm getting low and a dude there will let me know when they come in and hold whatever I need. Of course I buy other shit too while I'm there. Their exchange rate is like $18 for a 20 lb tank, and propane is $15 locally for 20 lb. .


So there's not a real big difference is $ and I already own the 5 tanks and 3 regulators. But, if I had it to do over I would really consider a burner or two. More cost efficient in the long run for sure.

well, like a jackass and a hardhead, I thought it was a good idea to go get a 100lb tank and get er filled (and u can fill a 100# tank with only 25lbs of propane)(which is weird to me) so I don't have to worry bout running out so often, well...bout 120lbs later I get this pig of a tank out of my truck bed and roll it into it new home...bad idea! aint getting any younger!


But then the other day I walked into Tractor Supply and saw they had 40lb tanks, waaaay better option for my setup, so guna get a few of those to keep on tap instead, hopefully this 100lber will last atleast 4 months Im thinking


But im STILL super amazed with all the Co2 has done for the grow, like...I just saw my first titty and twat impressed...for who that have not done Co2, its a major investment at first but if you can provide a sealed room then its overly well worth it, set it for 1200ppms and never look back!


For those who don't know, it also allows you to run much higher temps(up to 90F) and still get rock hard nugs, it'll naturally increase your Humidity to a near perfect point, stop any big temp swings...just a lot of huge points in a perfect inviorment
