Yea, I thought this house would do me for a year or two, 6 months later I have every available circuit running. House doesn't even have central AC and it's not like I can say hey don't look behind curtain number 1 or 2 you know.

Do it right, you'll have space for years to come...specially if it's yours.

The buckets...you ever try them? I heard there where a bitch but great results. If you are running that way use PVC and ditch the flexible shit. Have everything perm in place. If not you will hate it

I just paid $4500 for the condenser and the blower/heater unit (complete system) for a new heat pump system. That was going to the supply house and picking it up. my house is about the size of the building your talking about. that does not include any installation charges. I set it myself and had the company i worked for hook it up.

EDIT: my house is about [twice] the size of your building

I bought all the stuff for another RDWC system with the choice of trying it out in the new spot but im still gun shy after the last slime debacle...but then again, that was over 2 years ago, things have changed and cures for slime have come about..we'll see

as for doing it right the first time....AC is my only topic up in the air right now, other than that, im building everything in a serious overkill way...walls are 2ft on center with r-19 sound deadening insulation, then 6mil black plastic, then solid foam board, then half inch plywood...that's just on the inside of the room, other side is 6mil plastic and half inch plywood. Bought a 602 sqft. kit of spray foam of the net for all the nooks and crannies. which is also closed cell foam with a r-19 value, nothing goes thru that.....then the ceiling is 6mil plastic, foam board and plywood again....not sure what else I could do better at this point...sure theres something tho

3-24wide by 18tall vents, running a passive system, more pull no push, that way you clear the room entirely without a doubt and a constant flow of full force C02 is coming in for the entirety of the room top to bottom...running about 2,800 CFM on exhaust..

6-8..1ks, 6-8..600s depends on how I set things up and 2-400s in veg more if needed, T5 for moms

on grid (for now)..had a giant diesel gen but sold it like a dummy

only time u draw attn. is when you DONT pay your bills

Had to puke out $3200 for 2-24k btu Fujitsu mini splits today and a 12inch exhaust, that hurt....bad:BangHead:

LOL The mini splits will serve you well. 4 tons of mini split is much better than 4 of central. The loss of flow from all that ducting really makes a huge difference. You'll be happy with those in the end man.

Looks great I want to see this bad boy filled up! :coolbounce:

1 mini had major banger on the fan shroud, had to order another one, hopefully it comes in time..

Also wondering if I should mount these mini's down low? I know the idea of a house unit mini is to mount up high to suck out the hot and blow down the cold but....if im artificially pulling out the hot air with fans then is the up high option pointless??? I dunno
