Dam good job man! Impressive to say the least. Sucks about the slime with your DWC before the switch. I am slime free but only got two totes going, thanks again with all the help on it. It's working good for me. I am 3 years behind everyone else, so I will get to the tables soon.
Nice friggen hual! Did you use the new trimmer? If so how do you like it? Oh yeah, very nice job on the build.
I like this thing a lot, I was VERY surprised at the level of construction too....its the 19inch model and has to be about 5-6lbs or more, helped out bigtime!
I know it saved me at least 4hrs of work by hand. you do end up with some nice trimming for hash / edibles. :coool: If you had every thing rough trimmed on a table, you could really rip through it. :redbong:
Yeah, saves a shit load of time. Like Mr G said ruffing it in really makes it fly. I also make it a point to separate the buds by size before trimming to keep it even. I like that blue color!! I'm sure you've seen how sticky it gets, especially the blades. I think clean blades helps to avoid pulling too much thru to the bowl. And if you crank it too much it starts to break the buds up too, which I'm sure you've already seen. Good job dude, the work's starting to pay off.:thumbs-up: Be Cool, CG
CC, I have the same model as you do. Did you need to do any touch up trimming after using it ? I am about 10 days out from giving mine its first run through. thinking of giving about 10 turns each way and checking the buds out after that. I agree on the construction, too. That thing is built solid. BBT
I just noticed my BIG mistake, it was 3lb and not 4 at the time....wish it was tho!! got all trimming done, last batch is still a day or so away....but with eyesight, looks to be about a 4lb 3-6oz total harvest Good thing is tho, is that row is the smallest row out of the 3 rows...so that's a good benchmark, hopefully some Co2 will get me to 5 on the smallest row as for the trimmer, its NOT NOT NOT as much of a lifesaver as you wish it would be....still needed a random trim after it was spun up....BUT it does save a ton of time no doubt about that
Killin it! Added a Water cooled Co2 Genny, Propane powered, 8 burner and a CHHC-4 Sentinel Master Controller to automate it all, which is the BEST $$$ I've ever spent on the garden so far I was having major temp swings and had a ton of issues coming from that, loss of yields, gnats from pulling air IN, even thought it was thru 2 sets of filters, they still made it in somehow and etc etc.. So went and got the Co2 and all the gadgets and within 72 hours I saw a massive transformation by the plants in all fazes of growth, more lush green, hungrier, thirstier, massive root growth, just a more efficient healthier plant all around So from me to anyone...I wasn't a believer but holy shit was I wrong, Co2 is badass and super EZ to apply to any garden
How much gas is that burner eating CC? Been eyeballing a Hydrogen Mini for the camper instead of installing an old bottle set I have but it needs to run on 20lb LP tanks. Worried about having to keep changing out LP tanks all the time. It'd just be trading one hassle for another...know what I mean?
I got 2 - 100lb propane tanks from lowes... $120 each...hold 25lbs of propane....so far been on the same tank for about 4weeks. The key is getting a burner that is a smudge too big for your space. It'll help saturate the space faster and run less, less heat as well. I've done research for about 3 months on ppm rates and the 1500 thing is total hogwash...1200 is optimum for growth. Tractor supply has some 40gal tanks that I wish I would have gotten, way lighter
I hear ya with the CO2. I think you'll happy you made the investment. Yeah 1500 is a little overkill. The first controller I bought was a titan 2, preset at 1500 ppm. Mainly due to the cost difference of the adjustable ones at the time. Drains a 20 lb tank in fucking no time I finally had to put it closer to the outlet hose so it would cut off a little sooner and the tanks last a little longer. The newer ones I set at 1250 and a tank lasts a hell of a lot longer and everybody's just as happy. Be Cool, CG
1250ppm always seemed to perform best for me too. Same problem as you CG, kept draining the bottle so fast at 1500 that the runs for fresh tanks was getting to be a chore. Just that little 20% difference went a long way in value. Good to hear on the LP use CC. With the Mini gen and a much smaller space my use will be a fraction of yours so two 20lb tanks should last a fuck of a long time.
Nice building CC :flipando:Killing it. Do you put the Co2 in the lung room, then distribute? Or in the flower room only?
whats the diff between buying a burner and replacing propane or whatever, and just skipping the burner and getting a regulator and replacing CO2 tanks? (instead of propane or natural gas or whatever the burner eats)
