NEW diggs....RDWC 9 pot setup

Update end of week 8.....i wrote 7 earlier but was wrong


Im a fairly shitty picture taker so...look closely i guess


Ill get a ton of cut n dried pics when its trimmed up, get some decent macro shots


Shit is insane frosty in there....im guna have to remove 6 of the 9 and shut off 2 of the 3 lines and let the PINEAPPLE EXPRESS go another 3 weeks


But in a few the Rhino and Powerplant are comin down








These next 2 pics are of a plants grown directly under a 400 CERAMIC METAL HALIDE bulb from start to finish........and ill say, SWEAR TO GOD, they are the largest and most frosty plants in the room, they're on par...if not the best of any other bulb i've used......and thats a 6inch flex ductline for a size comparasin, buds are about 10-14inch long

Chris, I was reading an article in Skunk mag where The Rev SWEARS by MH bulbs noting better flowering results than HPS so there is still some speculation with certain growers as to what light works best.

Got 6 of the 9 flushing right now, shut off 2 of the lines and left the pineapple express in there for a few more weeks (2-3)

Yea thats the PPP........i fucked up and LOST her, she was the holy grail of the pack, the last bean! She yielded 3-5 oz per plant with NO effort in DWC, over 3 ft tall..........BUT shes gone now and im heated bout it!!!


I also learned NOT to put 2 or more strains in this system, im sure the more highly skilled hydro guys can handle the ins and outs of issues, but not me.


I learned that a 9 pot system is a pain in the ass.....4 pot is the way to go


Sooo I got 6 of the 9 flushed 7-10 days, chopped and trimmed


Things are very heavy and bulky, so give me another week and ill drop a weight update and some dried pics of the Rhino and PPP

You've definitely done a great job this round, despite the complications.


I totally understand about running more than a single strain in the system, but practice makes perfect.


I can't wait to see the final harvest pics and specs.

I forgot to post this.......I got 2lbs 1.5 oz from the first 6 plants to be chopped down....the other 3 still are flushing

 

Damn almost 5.5zips avg? Those are numbers I like! What are you running wattage wise again?

a 1k, 3-600's and 2 400's......the 400's were a MH and CMH bulb to give a mixed spectrum (something that wasn't a big deal i dont think)


so..3600watts


I also have the other 3 in the room, they got lights out today till this weekend to get trimmed


I was only off 4 oz on the 6 plants on my guess, Im thinking that the 3 others will give up 1.5lbs-2lbs....they're quite big, Pineapple express will be doing a ALL PE run next time, doing another 4pot setup for them, 3 all together


So im thinking that this entire 3600 watt room will drop me 4-5lbs or


about 50grams per watt or around there.....not that great if ya ask me


BUT.....this was the 1st run ever in RDWC and to be honest HYDRO really, i did the small tubs but this was a challenge for me.


I had a major issue with bending, if i had the proper support, i bet i could have gotten atleast another pound if not more

Yeah, I am going to run 2 sets of 6 with a 1000w over each (will probably pick up another adjust a wing, I am pretty impressed with the coverage. I want to go vertical bare bulbs, bit I just don't think it would fare well with my set up
