They are flowering because I went 12/12 from the get go. Just not sure why so short?i put the seedlings on 4/4/14 in Dixie cups and then in pots.
They're short because you put them straight into flower. They have pistils ("white hairs") because you put them straight into flower. You DON'T want white hairs right now, you want green leaves. Skip the 150W HPS. It's gonna get hot in that cab. Go with 2 ft HO T5 fluorescent tubes, or, pick up a 200-300w real wattage CFL and cheap reflector. Either will do almost as well as HPS in a small cab but won't give you as big of heat headaches. If you want to spend $$ and get the most out of the cab, go with LED or induction lighting. Now sit yer impatient ass down and wait. You're working with minimal light and damaged plants. Anything that is going to grow and mature is going to take forever because of this.
best advice I can give is listen to everyone that's trying to help you here. finish this grow, then on your next grow, read up and start. You should veg for a few weeks or in your case (i almost want to kick my own ass for saying this) look into autoflowering plants. It may help you get the knack for what you are doing. But really, you should veg at least a few weeks because frankly you shouldn't even feed a plant (from seed) for at least 2 weeks and it is HIGHLY recommended that you wait until they are showing alternating nodes before you flower. Live and learn. you may have me beat for the smallest plant award (although mine was outside). But it's hard to even tell you what week of flower you are in because you went 12/12 from seed. Experience helps people with that but unless you have pictures of when it started to show pistils no one can tell you how far along you truly are. But I thought it was a cloned bud honestly, read up on autoflowering strains if you are just looking to do what you are doing. That may your best bet. But you should do yourself a favor and get a game plan if you spent money on seeds....don't do this to good genes.
also, is that a hempy? think I asked before and didn't see a response. Something is going on, you may be over watering. Leaves look kinda droopy
Alright love the advice! The main reason I ended up going straight to 12/12 a friend told me too& I only had a box that was only 28 inches tall and a foot deep. Now I have my other "box" 4 ft high 2 feet deep. Yeah I was looking into all seeds! Fem , auto, & reg. I have experience growing outside. Just need different experience!
