Thanks shadow. The trimming is almost over. This is the last of it. This is Blue Chocolate that has been hanging for about 5 days now.
This is from my previous run. There is a bag that you put the trim in, zip it up, put it in the machine, add ice and set for 15 minutes and it agitates it like a washing machine. Drain into your bucket and then strain through your bags.
It's called a lot of different things. Here is one that Sears sells...yep, that Sears. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM6099303304P?sid=IDx20110310x00001i&srccode=cii_184425893&cpncode=30-77418291-2 This site also has them... http://www.wackywillysweb.com/products.php?cat=65 And ebay sells lots of different ones... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=hash+machine&_sacat=0&_from=R40
The one I am using cost around $150.00, when you have an assload of trim it's worth it. This one is even better because all I have to do is throw down a little product and it's mine until I am done. I spent about five hours last Saturday running hash and I still have an assload of trim left!
So couldn't you use a portable washing machine? I was looking at them today, while searching for hash extractors. There are some of these going for like $99. http://www.amazon.com/Package-Panda-Portable-Capacity-1laundry/dp/B005GM942C/ref=pd_luc_sbs_02_01_t_lh
That's the same machine I am using disco. The only difference is the bags, one that is advertised for hash will have at least a 73 micron bag, but that is the same exact machine I used.
Sweet! There are the bag kits that are sold for like $30 on Amazon, too. http://www.amazon.com/iPower-GLBBAG5X5-5-Gallon-Hash-Bag-Extractor/dp/B005TY2MFS/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1350498010&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=hash+extractor Like $150-180 for everything + shipping. At $20-$30/g, that's some money!
