Ever wonder how "Hootersville" got its name? must be something with the city folk "going back to the land" or was it from them great "Hooters" of the 3 daughters : Betty Jo, Bobbie Jo, and Billie Jo, or Mrs. Douglas in her nightgown, or just maybe because of the city folk (damn hippies) out there growing that marijuana hooting up all the time. No wonder the Douglas farm continues to look like nothing is improved.

 

I think "Hooterville" was a term used during the great depression for camp/shanty towns.
