Thanks! Not sure it's kickass yet. LOL But I'm pleased with it so far. For 6 plants in a 2x3 area under a single light with less than 200W hung 30" away from the tops not shabby so far for 13 days from transplant.Couple pics about an hour after lights on perking up. IMG_0156.JPG

Well I guess my girls are no longer innocent and have now become coke whores....:eusa_eh: :roffl: Something must have been contaminated because I noticed what appears to be some springtails in my run-off dishes. There was a little pooled up in corners and I noticed something that was greyish and not dark brown. Looked a little closer and noticed it was moving a little. Most appeared to be dead but some were skipping and flipping around. So hitting the girls with some diatomacious earth. Shred these little fuckers up and give a nice silica blast to the plants. :thumbs-up:

3 days of flower down, starting the 4th day right now and just snapped some pics. Looking good so far. Kinda crazy because I was worried about how dense they were at first but they are really branching and stretching with the reduced light period, which of course is to be expected. But so I'm impressed with over all growth rates, now just interested to see how the all white does for flower production. Got a couple little preflowers now that were not there before, so at least a good sign.

Now the one that isn't so bushy or have the stalk bulking up as much is the youngest one that I replaced the one I tossed with, so it's only been in there since the day of 12/12 flip so that's why. It wasn't topped like the others and had no veg time period.

So when I initially transplanted they were all just barely rooted. One of the galaxys just never did much of anything. I was just trying to be patient with it but it didn't follow the others. Then the day before 12/12 I just tried checking to see if it felt like it took hold. Felt very loose in the coco. So I just barely pulled upward and the whole thing pulled out and there were no longer roots. There was apparently only a single extension off the cut and it had broke away when I messed with it. So I was like fuck that I'm not waiting. I have another that was just showing a decent amount of roots through the rooter and just swapped them out.

Well not much traffic here, but still... Here's an update. This is the start of day 7 flower. So all in all. Not bad. Definitely hanging with the 400 still if not passing it, and for sure blowing all the flo crap out of the water. Well for 190W worth of fury it sure as hell is. Got some 9.5W 2700K CREE just standard incandescent replacement bulbs from homedepot. Saw people growing with them and looked up the specs and not too bad. If I feel later into flower I need to boost up the red spectrums some since the 3750K is lacking a little in the 660 department the 2700s should come in handy then IF needed. OH and on a side note. Tested the 9.5W just to see what it looked like. I was pretty impressed. Not the most efficient due to the bulb dome enclosure, though if I need them I may remove them. However with them still attached pretty bright. Replaced all the CFLs in the house with LEDs now. Nice not having that stupid annoying warm up phase. On to the pics. About to start SC to even out the canopy as much as possible. Let's see what the next 7 weeks have to bring. I may be eating my words but if I can pull 1g/w with these I'll be stoked and if I can surpass that first go then hell yeah! Seen a couple grows from one guy using the old 160W model (SGS 160) pull 1/2lb, if i can get this XGS to do that my mind will be blown. Needless to say I'm anxious. :coolbounce:Oh yeah one last thing so far really liking these AN nutes. Cost me less than it would to get GH 3 part with all the pH up and down, at least at the places I was looking. Cost me $50 shipped for the sensi 2 part grow and bloom. Have not messed with pH one bit, nada, ziltch. Stays at 5.8 and even with the lower dosages in the beginning it would buffer out. Well see I may play with it a bit if I feel and instead of adding equal parts of both change the ratio up a little.

Me too. I'm glad to see the pH perfect isn't just BS. So nice for when you are busy. Just mix and go. Not a single issue if pH or uptake. I was pretty happy. Because I know a buddies dad that used it liked it but was still having issues, though we found out not to long ago it was because he wasn't mixing it right he was using some formulation some window licker at the hydro store said was the absolute regimen for that system. So are you able to drop that light right down on 'em because of the lack of heat?

Oh hell no, I would bleach the ever living shit out of the plants. LOL This little 190W LED is never any closer than 20" to the tops. About double the height I would keep an aircooled 400W HPS bulb. Still a long way to go and lots can change but man I'm digging it so far.

  17. friendlyfarmer

Oh wow I had no idea! That kinda sucks, esp if you're height restricted.

I figured with low heat you could grow em like floros - right on top.

The real show is fixing to start. How tall are they? My main question's going to be if the lower buds are going to be useable or not.
