Thanks Bncool, Teamster, Alien, and Canna!!:thumbs-up: Alien that is a 400 in the vert as well. Same cab, wattage, clones, containers, veg time, everything. Only difference is the vert is about 2 weeks behind the the horizontal cab. As close as I could get for a comparison.

Thanks Link!! Nope.....it's said to be counter productive to turn them. I tried to pull as many branches forward so they get light, but next time I'm gonna do it properly and trim away all the stuff on the backside. And I'm gonna build a screen to weave the branches through to see if I can improve on the yield.

Day 56 in the vert cab been flushing for almost a week now.

Well......all is down and jarred. This comparison grow wasn't as organized as I would've liked...different girls started at different times, taken at different time, etc. but in the end it was fun. The regular cab contained a Dopeman clone that was vegged for nearly 12 weeks, 2 SSSDH phenos vegged for 3 weeks from clone, and a smaller Dopeman clone vegged for 3 weeks. The big girl yielded over 6 ounces, the 2 SSSDH were 2.5 and 2, and the Dman was 1.5 give or take. So 12 zips from 4 girls in the horizontal cab.


The vert cab was 8 girls, 5 SSSDH (4 different phenos), 2 AK48 clones, and a Dman clone. The Dman was pulled early due to hermi and only yielded 1.2 oz. and the rest went to 69 days. Total from the remaining was 12.5 zips, so a total of 13.7 zips or .875 g/w. There was alot of smaller shit along the back and bottom that went into a batch of butter, but other than that they were all nice sized smokable buds.


All and all I'm happy with the results. The vert buds weren't quite as dense as the regular, alot I'm sure due to higher temps in the vert cab (getting up to low-mid 80's for a couple weeks). But I think dialed in the yield would be much better. I will post pics of some dried buds in the next day or two.

Ya Res....cupboard is full. Too bad I get a little complacent and lazy when the jars are stocked!! :bong-2: Dealing with a mite issue on my moms which has set me back in my plans for this next one. Hopefully that will be dealt with in a couple weeks cause I don't wanna expose my cabs to the mites.


Scotty......I use hempy buckets. This run I used 1 gallon juice containers......and I can't believe the yields for how small they are. I think its not as important in hempy than in soil.


Well as promised heres some dry shots of the jarred up nugs.


Four different phenos of Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze.......


SSSDH1 The haziest of the group. Probably could have gone more than 10 weeks. Gonna have to run her one more time before final polls are in. Big yielder....over 3 zips in a 1 gallon container.





SSSDH2 Keeper. Lemon pledge kerosene smell. Piney dankness with super full smoke that makes your lungs expand like crazy. Real dense nugs. If you can hold in a huge toke of this props to you sir!!!








SSSDH3 Can't pinpoint the smell on this one quite yet. Tastes sorta earthy. Pales in comparison to her sisters, but still nice smoke.








SSSDH4 Keeper. Cherry jet fuel smell. Again real lung expanding smoke. Had the most Indica looking leaves. Super dense nugs. I left it a little leafy just cause I like the purple hue. Makes it look sloppy though.











The 2 keepers are the best smoke I've grown to date. Anyone who has puffed her begs for more and is BLASTED afterward. I know it seems odd, but my only knock is they seriously make you cough your ass off every time you take a nice rip. Me and my girl typically hit the blunt 2 or 3 times before passing it, but with these girls its pointless. You need a break after 1. Can't wait to dial em in and see how much better than can get. Both yield pretty nice but 4 was heavier. My hand seems to go to 2 more often though asssit:

Well since last time I updated I had my SSSDH mothers ravaged by spider mites. Was only able to salvage a few clones that were in bad shape. I had a buddy I gifted some to bring some back only to find he had them in solo cups filled with dirt from his backyard that was hard as brick.:roffl: Needless to say it took me a while to get them back on track, as they had all sorts of issues. In the meantime I started some StrawberryDiesel99 seeds. They are Reservoirs original Strawberry Diesel x Cinderella99. Ended up with 4 ladies and tossed in 2 Afghans and one of my SSSDH phenos. These are 3 days since the flip.





























They are pretty squat and bushy. Makes me think I have more C99 dom phenos. We shall see once they get going in the next few weeks here.
