:good job: You've learned a lot and it looks like it's paying off for you. Good looking buds there for sure. Thanks for the props too. Always feels good to know that we've helped someone else. Someone helped us along the way too. I'm still learning new things all the time from all the members her at GK. :passsit:

Just a quick update! Jesus OG has been put into flower along with the single White Rhino that I was able to get vegged. Silver LA is done with her stretch and has begun to put trichomes out onto her leaves. This is just a minor update. I will add pictures on Wed, when I don't have trimming to do.

It looks like I have the eleven week "Sweet Onion" pheno of the Hawaiian Snow. She is a light green color and crystally with white trichomes. The other one appears to be a 13 weeks pheno and smells a bit more fruity. She does not have as many crystals, but is shiny and resiny. I am hoping she will turn into a monster once her trichomes aren't so clear.

So the Jesus OG has been under 12/12 since Saturday, and it looks like I have 2 males. I checked my other 2 Jesus OG plants, and can clearly see white pistils beginning to emerge on them. Out of these two male looking ones, there is a pheno that is very smelly and also has one main cola. The second picture/pheno is bushier and smells a lot more planty than musky.

I want to wait one or two more days before pulling them out fore sure, but under a microscope, they do not have the pistils.

The Hawaiian Snow has two different phenos, and one of which I am going to for sure keep. It seems to be a much heavier yielder, and smells like sweet onions (Picture 1). The other looks similar, but smells fruity. It looks like it may be more crystally if I let it go 13 weeks (Picture 2).

If those two are in fact boye, then I have room for two more plants. I've kept vegging clones of all of the Jesus OG, so I will be able to breed them once I can get a new space and build a male isolation chamber. Ive seen a few that claim to work fairly well.

That one plant is a male Disco. Glad you are having better luck with your Jesus OG than me. Don't really know what happened but all of mine got fried except for one plant. It's just stuck in limbo it looks like and is not growing for shit. Talk about pissed the hell off.

Glad to know I have found the males within a few days of putting them in there! It's easier to spot them out, than I thought.

Sorry to hear about your Jesus OG, man. One of my seeds did exactly as you described. I was lucky to get these four up, and have them as healthy as they are. It seems like really good/stable genetics if you can get them going.

The top pic is the single cola musk pheno, and the second one is the bushy one. I would assume the smell alone would be reason to be putting that one's genetics into the female, but I like the bushier pheno, too. Obviously, these are going to be bred twice to make some of my own f1/f2s. Now it comes down to what the females are showing, and they seem to be about the same as the males in both smell and looks. It looks like I have complimentary males and females to each other.

You could always use both of the males and see what you get. I recently pollinated one branch on each of my outside plants. I tied a string to each branch that I wanted to pollinate, then I took some pollen from a cheesequake male, put it in a bag and put the bag over the branch and shook the hell out of it.

How long could these males go before releasing pollen? I've heard it's within 10 days of 12/12 on some strains. I'd love to use a bag and see what I could make happen. It would be much more controlled than just letting all of those plants go full term and all getting seeded.

They will take about two to three weeks usually before the flowers open. I'd get them away from any females now though. If even one small flower pops open in your room and you don't catch it right away then most, if not all, of your stuff will get seeded out.

The question would be where to put them now. I've got them on a different side of the flower room, so I could watch them. That's not going to work in 5-10 days, though. This is why I took clones in the first place, but I would kinda like to try getting some pollen. I've got too many strains going right now, and so I need to find a way to get some seeds to pop later.

I'm thinking Jesus OG and Purple Kush are going to fool around, though. Disco Kush sounds nice!

Can you put them outside under some bushes or something? The daylight hours are perfect for that right now. You could let the flowers open and then harvest them, dry them and then store the pollen until you need it.

That's one of those things that is so stupid it's actually funny. :rofl6:

I'd have to go find a spot in the woods for that to happen. There are a few places I know of, but 30 miles is a bit of traveling for it.

I'm okay with flowering two more girls this time around. I've got rooted Jesus OG clones, so I can just make sure to keep the ones I like trained and vegged. I'll make notes of which ones are doing what currently, so I know which male will do what further down the road. I've got them numbered, so it shouldn't be hard.

My personal preference is a sativa dominant that is more bushy. The taller smellier pheno could work well with the bushier female. Then I could narrow down the most bushy/smelly/crystally female, and combine it with the matching male.

    Jesus OG Male Phenos

The one on the left is seedling number 2: It is bushier and smells like fresh plant.

The one one on the right is seedling number 3: It smells like musky cinnamon. That's about the only way I can describe it. It's nice, though!

The White Widows have been put into the flower room in place of the two males. Here they are before going into flower:

Why are they so droopy? Something's up with your soil mix by the looks of it.

The ones Ras is asking about, those look over watered to me.

They may have been over watered, if anything. Some of my plants seem to perk up once light gets going on them, also.

The soil is barely moist on the top layers now, though.

Disco, I had some herijuana that would do what you said. They would start to wilt every day about an hour before the lights went off. It was like they knew it was coming. They would stay wilted until the light came back on and then perk right up.

I can understand if they had just come out of the dark that they could be a bit droopy looking. Some strains tend to do it more than others. I think they all do it to some degree but some really droop noticeably. My Tahoe tends to go to sleep and droop it's fan leaves down noticeably and as soon as the lights come on they perk right up.

  20. Discorilla

    Discorilla Shining like a Discoball!

It would make sense. The plant isn't using its' energy in the fan leaves at night. They would be in a "resting" position. This was straight out of the dark, also. The lights have been off for 5 hours in this pic.

I know I can't say that I do everything perfectly 100% of the time. I generally use a third of a gallon on each 2 gallon pot to water with every 3 days. Sometimes it's too much, and others it's not enough.

Also, that's Tahoe OG, correct? Maybe it's built into the genetics?
