The next round of Starbud has gone into flower, and I will be picking my pheno/s after this run. I even marked this round!
Two Strawberry Cough plants and a Dutch Hawaiian clone have been added to my arsenal. This cut was said to be given to the supplier, by Kyle Kushman himself. If that is the case... I have the pheno that won the US cup last year! Yay!!!!
Surprisingly, I don't get many PMs. The ones I do get are mostly in response to questions I've asked people. We'll have one of these Strawberry Cough clones going into flower within the next two weeks. I'm needing to make sure this is the correct pheno, before I can say what else I'm going to be doing with it. If it's the right pheno, my Ghost Train Haze #1 Males are going to tag team her. Wish I still had KKSC. I really liked it. Had this soapy hash taste with a mild strawberry undertone. Easy to grow and nice bud structure. Got that and Dabney at the same time, dab was great but I think I like the KKSC just a little more. Now if I could blend the two that would have been awesome with the right pheno too bad all three sites that were keeping it some how seemed to kill it off one way or another in the same week. One was a bad mite infestation and they overtreated, another had a pump failure while out of town, and the last spot guy stood up too quick hit the hood and knocked it down and were did the damn MH bulb land and break? That's right, right in the damn KKSC pot. So that last one died from mercury poisoning. Sucks.
I have completed the pastry side of my baking classes, and now we are learning about breads. After breads and cakes, there won't be much that I cannot infuse with Cannabis!! I am currently waiting for some ISO to finish up, so I can get it made into Coconut Oil. I am going to be baking brownies and Danish Pastries with this next round of Coconut Oil that I'm infusing.
I was jumping around the house when I heard what the cuts were! I'm definitely happy to have it around (after I test it). It's too bad about your cuts. Dabney and the Cough would have been wonderful to run together. Dabney is an elusive girl, though.

Nothing like what you threw up, but I need to buy a table mixer as it makes a difference Get any tips I'm all ears, specially if you can figure out a way to make some things with dropping 400 on a mixer (wife won't let me cause she says I'll never use it anymore)
I have found that hand-mixed dough vs. machine-mixed has no comparison between the two. I would take a 4-7 quart mixer for around the house, any day. I'd check for used ones in your area. There are a ton of people selling them for dirt cheap! I am currently learning more about the Commercial aspect of baking, so this is going to tie into my Processing Facility really well. There are ways to mix your ingredients extremely well by hand, but most of these ways are messy I have found.
Oh I ran Dab and KKSC together more than a couple of times. I just wanted to make a fem cross of the two but never did. I got some pics of a small personal run of KKSC and Dab . If I could have got some of the bud structure characteristics from the KKSC along with some of the sativa like effects into the dab with a little twist on flavor and extra potency.... Ugh.... Woulda, coulda, shoulda.
NEW STRAIN ALERT!!!!!!!! For 2014 I have been selected to test out some new genetics from Cannafornia Seeds, a project by Alien Dawg. The strain is called Border Haze, and it is a cross between Super Silver Haze and Golden Mexican Sativa. I am really excited to have the opportunity to grow out some new genetics! And for those of you that didn't know... I have a cross of my own that I will be working on stabilizing throughout this year. The name is Mary Magdalene, and it is a cross between Original White Widow IBL and Jesus OG Kush. So far, five out of five seeds have germed and are awaiting their solo cups. I have 35 more seeds to go through, also. Pics of the chaos to come!!!
