It's been feeling like a ghost town for about 4 months now (Maybe longer). I believe my patience is wearing thin, with grow logs. They take way too much time to do, and they don't do anything for me except frustrate me, because people don't seem interested unless it's for potentially taking clones off my hands. That's not how I roll...
I've been checking in whenever you post or someone else adds something. I check all the grow logs when new posts show up. I just don't want to be the tenth person to say " nice buds."
I check the updates too and I am usually like the third guy to say "nice buds" and even ask a question or two. I haven't hit you up for cuts, tho that's not a capital sin in my book. I am an openhearted person and others have been kind to me so who would I be not to return the favor or pass it along? Guys, I've been having a bit of an emo moment with how busy I have been getting recently. I apologize for that. I do appreciate even the quiet lurkers! It does seem like the past few times I've taken pics, it hasn't been for the pleasure of taking pics. This has been for other people wanting to test seeds, clones, you name it. Growing is starting to feel like much less of a hobby now, and sometimes it's way too tedious. I have 8 plants that are taller than me now. That's way more work than I first envisioned for myself. I need to find the pleasure in all of this again...
Been there man asssit: Sometimes you gotta realign priorities. Time is the only truly non-renewable resource. Once you spend a moment, it will be recorded in the annals of time as being spent in just THAT exact way. No more, no less. asssit: I spend time here because it brings me joy. It also is a semi-permanent and public record of what I have grown, which I use a a resource for future grows. It is an out let of my love and passion for growing weed and a way of being in touch with humanity in new and always rewarding way. :thumbs-up:
Big update for today, since it's been a while. The Hawaiian Dutch and other Strawberry Cough have been put into flower. Here's the Dutch before going in: The Border Haze Testers are at day 29 of veg, and I am now waiting for their pre-flowers to show, before flowering. The back plant is close to 18 inches tall: Here is a side nug of the Strawberry Cough at day 35 of flower: And here is Jesus at day 35: The Starbuds will be finishing in a week, so here are their week 7 photos. I'm not sure which order I posted them in last time, so I'll post them in the order I am most likely to keep them in. I ended up getting a decent shot of one of the main colas of the Strawberry Cough last night, but my camera created a new folder for it and I didn't see it. The Jesus can be seen shining in the background: And now for the Ghost Train Haze #1. This is the second run of all of the female phenos because the last batch hermied on me. Thinking it was mistakes of my own that caused this, I began a second round of flower in bigger pots and with more light. I found nanners again this batch. With my heat remaining under 80 degrees, a strict watering/nute/light schedule, and five gallon pots... they still hermied on me. Or a couple of them did, and ended up seeding the others. They look nice, but there are still nanners. I've contacted Rare Dankness to ask them for some advice. Here are the girls at day 29 of flower. Every pic is a different pheno/plant: 1: 2: 3: 4: 5: The sixth one managed to evade the camera, I guess.

Five gallon buckets are the biggest I have gone so far. Beds and a drip system are what I am considering next, if anything. That, and teas to feed with.
Well, about crawling around in there to water every day - THAT'S what drove me to hydro. I swear that bucket looks bigger :LOL: smoke more weed there FF! Dude all those strains look delish but none looks like a heavy producer. Also does that shit smoke as good as it looks? Lets see some smoke reports!
Jesus is the highest yielder I have at the moment. Everything else caps off at about 2 ounces per plant. The Hawaiian Dutch will probably be my biggest yielder once I get it going and dialed. The Strawberry Cough is also supposed to be a really good producer if it gets vegged large enough.

Regards, David" I believe you guys have been railing on me hard enough the past two years, to know that this just sounds like they are saying that some phenos are hermy prone, and they need to be grown perfectly to not show it. I may try three of the phenos once more to see if I can do a perfect run, but I worry about seeding my crop again.

Yeah either dump them or save them to use later, maybe outdoors. Then it would be easier to get them males early. I've grown Nirvana's Blue Mystic. That would be the next up for me. That shit is a really nice tasting smoke. CC swears by their White Rhino and I also heard good about their Ice. You've got some nice beans just waiting, why play with shit?
Harvest of Starbud at week 8 Here is the Starbud taken down at day 56 of flower. They turned out lovely this time around, so narrowing them down to three was what I had to do this round. So here's an update for the Disco-Zone. Even though I haven't posted on this thread for well over a month, the show has continued. I am still plugging my way through school and am training a 12 week old puppy. Needless to say that between all this and growing, I've been neglecting keeping this thread updated. I'll take some pics of buds and flowering plants tonight, and post them up. I know for a fact vertical HID is the way to go now, at least for me... Indoor plants at 7 feet tall is something I'll gladly take at the cost of a little extra on the power bill. I am still on my regiment of using Neptune's and a modified ResinRubber soil. This combined with the use of 60% recycled/re-amended soil in my pots, has given me some beastly plants. When I post my pics, you'll see what I mean. Tonight will also be the official unveiling of Mary Magdalene, which is a cross of Original White Widow IBL and Jesus OG. I bred these plants a while ago, and I have a very busty female that is getting ready for flower. After smelling her and watching her grow in veg, I am expecting something nice from this cross. I am not expecting this one to be "THE ONE", because I still have over 30 seeds to go through. I am seeing much nicer things in this plant than from her Widow mother, though. Her mother is a finicky lady... and Mary is okay with whatever I throw at her. This round of flower will include: Evelyn, White Widow, Jesus OG, The Border Haze Testers, Hawaiian Dutch, Strawberry Cough, and Ghost Train Haze #1. Stay tuned for luscious looking ladies!
