Blueberry Trainwreck at harvest time.I've decided since there are 4 days left to harvest, that today would be a good day to cut down the first of the two. This is so I can give the Blueberry Trainwreck 4 days to be ready for curing, and have room to hang the Querkle at the end of it's cycle. It started at 16" tall. This plant has easily put out twice what the Querkle will, though. Say hello to my new standard strain. New week flowering pics.You can smell it, too! My whole place smells like blueberries! I can't wait to see what happens with the one I let bush out, before flowering. That's about 30 days away. What is Discorilla cooking up on the veg side of things?I keep forgetting to do this, so here ya go. The Sour Diesel will be going into flower soon, but I think it may be the only one that fits. Oh no! It may be time for a bigger grow area! All looks great and fantastic Disk.... Very nice harvest. Cant wait too see that Sour D, finish up... and YES!! the only Blueberry I grew, was a Auto Blueberry..... when it was 2 weeks in to flower... you can pull a leaf of it, crunch it up, and it smells just like blueberry juice... Untill it was harvested and cured...and it lost it all...really weird. You still got that blueberry smell after curing? has it increased at all, or faded down? I never tried Trainwreck, im sure its a great combo... with BB what does TW taste like? for future reference.....
The smell is still there, but it almost has a minty note behind the scent. Same with the taste. I can't decide if I am smoking Blueberry, or mint leaf. I'm not sure if that's the way to describe it, but it's what comes to mind. This weed floors me!
Just had an apartment inspection. Thought they were going to check all of it, so I put all my plants in boxes and made a "storage" room. Figured it would be better to hide it under their noses. I wasted 2 hours taking my grow room apart, only to realize they were checking on the plumbing for winter. Now I get to set all that shit back up! Hooray!
That's the only thing that got me through moving everything around again. That, and a few bowls! Holy shit, the Blueberry Trainwreck is potent! I'm smoking some, while I trim my Querkle. You can't really see the buds in that bowl but what you can make out....WOW!!! Looks REAL nice! Those suckers look dense. Nice job! :thumbsup:
Vegging plants and clones.I haven't done an update for a little while, so here is what I got going on still. This will be a continuous grow thread, so it may as well be called Discorilla's MMJ Log.Here are the vegging plants. I'll post the flowering pics in a few hours when the lights come on. They got held back by being boxed up for a day, but they remained undetected.The Querkle looked like it was getting rootbound, so I transplanted it into a two gallon pot (Since she is the sativa dominant pheno, bushing is a pain to do): View attachment 17347 The young clones are showing new growth now. BB x TW may be the only one I need to take additional clones of. We shall see, though. *edit* The clone in the water bottle got transplanted into a pot. Flowering pics of the weekThere are currently four plants in flower, because this is all I have room for at the moment. One BB x TW, one ReCon, one Querkle, and one Sour Diesel. The Blueberry Trainwreck lost its' main cola last week during the inspection, so it has been planted into a gallon pot to re-vegitate. Hopefully, it will be ready to go in a few weeks. Good call! Was looking at my pics from a few weeks ago, and there is a picture of what BB looks like with 17 days left to go. This one is a bit further behind than that, but I'll at least know what to compare it to. I was going off my journal, plus an additional week.
Yeah, it's looking pretty stressed. That'll probably slow it down quite a bit. I'd guess it's got about 30 days to go rather than 20. You might want to take some photos of the whole plant in isolation in normal light and post them up. See what people think the problem is. It looks vaguely to me like a combination of heat stress and nute burn, but that's a pretty unsure guess at the moment, especially since your other plants aren't really showing heat stress. Does that Qwerkle look like it's got some stippling going on? That could be an early sign of spider mites. Grab the magnifying glass! :danger::danger:
Yep. Spider Mites are around, but not out of control. Been using Mighty Wash for em. That stuff works! I guess I need to spray em more, if you noticed that. LOL! The last blueberry showed the same leaf issues as this one is showing. The nute burn is light, because I just added a little bit of booster to the soil. They get fed half strength twice a week, and water 3 times a week. I think the Blueberry is showing the same stress I was feeling when that main cola snapped off. That bastard would have been an ounce by the time it finished. I suppose it'll all go into the other colas, though (Hopefully). If it ends up finishing around the same time as my other ones, then it is going to be dangerously potent. I know I need to do a smoke report, but Blueberry Trainwreck fucks with my head royally!
